Damn, that looks sweet! I don't have much experience with 3D printing, but have been painting small-scale figures for some time. If you do another similar project, I highly recommend going for Citadel paints. They're made for miniature game pieces and they've made a big difference in my work. You'll definitely notice the difference. Do a 50:50 water-to-paint ratio with them. It applies really smoothly and gets rid of the paint strokes that appear with most other paints.

quick tip: try watering your pants with a few drops of water so that you can get an even coat of paint and most importantly, it doesn't cover the details

I would recommend using Tree Supports for organic shapes like this. It’s SO much easier to remove.
