I am fascinated with Bronze Age civilizations, and this time I will be interpreting a hat inspired by grave finds of the Lüneburg group in modern day Germany. This is a really fun project!

Fun historical hats are my weakness. I have at least 5 over several eras that I want to make. This hat is spectacular and I am so happy I caught this video before it got buried in my notifications.

I just saw a picture of a couple wearing the traditional lace caps from Schwalm and the woman's cap looks very much like your interpretation.
So, did you wear it grocery shopping? I find people are really intrigued in WalMart when you history bound, or wear Wizard robes.

Wow that sounds super cool!!!
What a great job. I always wanted to do the Danish girl but just never got to it. It seems like European women's hats like to be excessive lol. I remember the Dutch Fisher women with their great big winged hats with the twisted wire decorations from when I was a child there in the fifties.
