You know it's a premium product, when Apple includes the microfiber cloth!

I got the Pro Display XDR (standard glass) in February this year and I am absolutely in love with it, I will never change it. The design is unmatched, the size is perfect and the resolution and clarity is beautiful.

The cheese grater back really is lovely, but does it have a purpose? Do monitors need cooling?

if given with no professional that required that level of display...I am happy to own 2 of the LG 5k display where it still look pretty darn amazing as they are the same as my current 27 iMAC pro.

Seeing the XDR wobble when you take off the protective film at 6:57 is the really why i could never use a VESA mount display. It wobbles as much as the UltraFine 5K does using the stock stand! lol

It looks the part! Whilst I still think pros will go for OLED reference monitors it certainly is very stylish. I think the next iteration will have slimmer bezels and profile which will be a game changer. If they can fix the off axis brightness I'm gonna be very interested!

@Oliur do you know if a monitor arm used with the Vesa adapter from Apple will allow you to put the Pro Display into portrait mode? Similar to how the Pro Stand will.

I’m never going to be able to afford this and I really wish Apple would make a cheaper monitor option. I also want to see that full screen, small bezeled screen on MacBooks.

For me Nano is a must. I love working on bright environments and the glare of standard glossy screens drives me crazy.

I bought a 27 inch monitor from Dell 4k, for my Mac Mini 2018 Mac mini (2018) 3ghz Intel Core i5 6-Core 5, Memory 8GB 2667MHz DDR4 and Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB graphics. I didn't like the result, the letters were too small, I had to force a rinse, there was no comfort in reading, my eyes felt heavy after a few hours of use, thanks to the small size of the 4k. I returned it and got a 2k QHD, I found it more comfortable. Another big problem was that my Mac's notable performance drop for Mac OS animations and transitions with 4k resolution, the CPU consumption made me very sad, as all its potential was stolen to manage 4k. Did you notice any performance drop when using this monitor? Or are you having some visual fatigue from the continuous effort to see? I have myopia and astigmatism, this is bad for me.

For such a nice (and expensive) display, I would only trust Ergotron arms. They are extremely expensive, but you can still buy 3 or 4 for the price of the Apple stand sooooo

Dude, please mount that Monitor on the wall and put cables inside wall and you have a legendary setup (If not mistaken this is your house so you can do it 😂). Love it.

@@kooldude123 why, there are arms that you can mount on the wall and then the vesa mount on it and you just set that higher saw some guys did just that here on youtube and it works even when standing.

Honestly, this display is basically in a class of its own, any cheaper display isnt as good for professionals that can make use of its quality, and any display that has all of it is a super high tier display that costs like 5-6 times more, so, there really isn't anything we can actually compare it to
