The way he textured the rock, was the most delicate texture job I’ve ever seen.
It's honestly really impressive just how accurate this is, it looks like the classic Disney movie tuned 3D. It's even more impressive that he did it just from memory.
I was always amazed by her gracefulness and beauty as a child; you really did her justice on this one.

Wow, I’m really impressed with this recreation of Arial. It really captures the look in her eye that brings her to life, the facial expression which adds to her character, and most of all her iconic legs, exactly like the cartoon, just more realistic. You’re really talented at bringing these characters to life. Nicely done.
This is neither the Ariel we wanted or deserved, but here it is and I love her.

Pretty accurate imo. I've always remembered Ariel as a realistic blue Magikarp with a couple of thick gym bro legs, and this is the perfect representation of that. Thanks Adam!😊

I have been watching his videos for so long, that when another channel appeared on my suggested videos and started using actual tools to give a rocky texture i got genuinely confused.

the title calls this wrong but this is exactly Ariel as i remember her! it's almost nostalgic to see her in her purest form :)
My favorite part of the movie is when Ariel breaks onto the prince's ship and regales him from the shadows with a fishy baritone rendition of Creep by Radiohead while he sleeps

Ever since I began watching your videos I've always been keen on the idea (inspired by TerminalMontage) of an almost astronaut like version of Pac Man being hunted down by some extremely horrifying ghosts in a dark sci-fi hallway of black and blue. There's an episode of "Night Gallery" where a fisherman nets a classic mermaid and is smitten, so he employs a witch to transform her tail into legs. Unfortunately for him, the result is similar to your delightful version and he flees in terror.

A glaze is putting a thinned out colour on and not washing off. While a wash is putting thinned out colour and dabbing it off so that it only settles into the deepest grooves to add shading.

This one hits close to home more than I expected, and you pegged the scaled songstress exactly how I always thought the fish-girl should look! After all the hundreds (thousands?) of times we watched the little Mermaid, and listened to our two pre-adolescent darling daughters sing Ariel's songs, over, and over, and over, and over, and ... my Husband and I would both proudly display this version of the ol' fish girl in our home, just to irk the kids if nothing else. Having a classy piece of art like this would be our final revenge against the torture we endured for years. This one is glorious!!!!! 🤣

I remember watchng The Little Mermaid as a kid, so I respect the attention to detail, especially the red fins, which were always neat to me, cuz of the contrast with the blue scales. Nice job, Adam!

By far this is peek performance of Mermaid design. i mean look at those dead fish eyes, the most accurate to Ariel to date i think. All that seafoam, even her sisters think shes pretty :) thank you for the giggles tonight much needed, the only disappointing aspect, her blue scales, and no long flowing fish whiskers, tuttut Adam lived for the Rock texture by Rocks xD
