I think this had much more potential if you were ALL the aliens. No matter what you are going to lose some along the way, but your score could be based on how many aliens you have left when you destroy the enemy
This is sweet! Laser Blast from Activision’s David Crane for the Atari 2600 was a tide turner where you were the invader.

Um, the Aliens destroying the bunkers isn't the point of pace Invaders!! The point is to destroy all the Aliens before they reach the bottom of the screen and 'invade' earth.
Seems like a cool concept
