Cool board man but i would recommend 1/2" risers and spacers in your wheels

I like how you put the griptape on. Nice trick peeling only a center section back 👍👍

I started skating again at 38 it lasted about 2 yrs till I took a hipper on a concrete quarter pipe at the park 50/50'n and got hung up on my back truck and came down hard.. the body doesn't heal nearly as fast at this age. So I hung up my board again and for good. Sux getting old

Just cruise I’m 43 and I don’t do anything insane maybe a Ollie but that’s it, u do have to be careful once U hit a certain age i don’t even attempt a kick flip anymore.

Best set up I’ve seen all 2018, the board looks amazing 🤩

Great board, yeah SC old school decks are great, Ive been wanting to order a Jeff Kendall graffiti resissue or Hosoi deck for a while. The grip is awesome

nice set! is this a good setup to skate pools or would be better with 97a wheels? i love to cruise but want to get into pool skating and was wondering what was best

It's been awhile and I can't remember if I put 95a wheels on this setup, but if you're new to pool skating that is where I would start. With confidence move into 97a's, and yes, I think this board would be killer in a pool.

I’d personally ride 99a or 97a. Some Spitfire Formula 4’s or OJ Hosoi rocket 2’s

9"x33" it fit right to the edge of the deck.

If the wolf beach preissue is 9.35" and the mob master blaster grip tape is 9.0" how did it fit? Is the mob grip available in wider sizes with that graphic?

the 9.35 includes the round edge.

Personally I woudn't do stickers, would show logo and protect with rails (no tailbone) but that's what I love about the skate scene, everyone should be different. I would love to see a demo of this but ah well.

The old school shape boards are stronger and usually are made with thicker veneer! 30 years ago people rarely snapped a board in half! The owner of innovation skate shop told me that they make the boards thinner now deliberately, is why they just snap nowadays. $$$

I'd say just go for it and see what you think is better because it doesn't matter what's better cuz at the end of the day it's all just personal preference and what your muscle memory has gotten used too

you assembled something. & forgot bearing spacers. Bearings don't function correctly without them. Nice looking setup though - bigger riser pads.

@@blakerogers7289 it may roll fine, but bearings will last 10x longer with spacers. Also keeps slides smooth as they will increase play as they ware & start to rattle.

If you would have scored the grip tape with a srewdriver no need to sand. Cool board.

That's the thing about grip tape, everybody does it different.

No bearing spacers dude. That's gonna kill your bearings way faster

Missing rails, lappers, copers and nose and tail skid plates and guards.

No 1/2 in risers

What is it with people putting on 78A wheels? Back in the day I never saw ANYONE riding 78A..thats for cruisers etc...90A-97A is what we rode.

We're all old men now and running cruiser set-ups. I rode 90a G-Bones back in the 80's.

I count my blessings, and have had injurys, but I heal and get right back out there. I still have a lot of energy left and I want to keep going, keep pushing and keep learning new tricks. Progression ends when we die. Old age begins when you stop skating. Now God, I know you hear me, I do not take this life or skateboarding for granted......it is a blessing from you! Please grant me a lot more time to continue to do my thing....I want to skate forever!!!! Thank you Jesus!

Good luck finding a wheel with 90a ! Its a damn good medium, and ya we rode Mini rats and bullet 66 wheels in the late 80s and all the formulas are different now. Wheels coned back then and didn't have cores. A set of Swiss Bones were about $22 back then too! I still have some of the Thrasher mags were CCS was California Cheap Skates 87,88,89,90 badass

No really. U put it together with a few tools like an IKEA instruction manual.

I like everything except for the grip tape. I hate busy grip art like that. I like designs but too many colors on the top distracts the heck out of me. Enjoy.

Very good point, so I had to do some research. Google search resulted in the definition of make - "form (something) by putting parts together or combining substances; construct; create". I think I'm in the clear.
