Stunning talent & creativity! Tragic medium. Handmade quilts are valuable folk art worth thousand$. Honestly, not machine washable or clothing durable. Vintage quilts are your $$$ inheritance. Don't repurpose them.

Thanks, and they surely can be! I got all these materials secondhand from thrift shops or FB marketplace. Yeah there are different wash instructions for different pieces but that’s a given. Also I’m pretty good at what I do and know how to reinforce the clothing so yeah they are durable. I’ll continue to repurpose them 👍🏾
