FYI: unfortunately, shortly after we recorded this video, Hushfable cancelled the Starfall Ball, so we never actually got to go. The reason they gave was that they faced an unforseen challenge with their business bank accounts being frozen, but they have promised full refunds to everyone. Their last minute decision to cancel the ball was a huge disappointment for us and so many others who bought tickets, made costumes and arranged plans to attend the ball. Amazingly, a few members of the community came together to fund and organise an alternative event named "The Lost Court' with just a weeks notice. Danny and I did not attend this event but, from what I've seen online, it was a success and I'm in awe of the positivity, kindness and generosity of the community and how, despite the circumstances, they came together to create a safe place for new friends to meet and celebrate their shared love of the books.

The lord of the rings and Brigerton (Def spelled that wrong) faced the same problems. It’s really hard to host these kinds of things

@@colbyreader yes, it's such a shame. Hopefully the company will get things sorted so they can put on their event layer in the year. I just feel so bad for the people who travelled in from abroad and spent so much time and money on their costumes and accommodation/travel 😔

Hi Ellie, you two are so in tune with each other its lovely to see. ACOTAR is one of my favourite book series. nice to see the daffodils and birds. To have a male point of view on this book is very interesting. Great video you guys and Dannys views on book two would be really good. Lucien is a brilliant character. Sorry to hear your ball was cancelled😢😊

Shame about the ball. It is so good seeing you and Danny chatting about the book. I must admit that I have not read these books. I found the roses part very funny when you were showing how they moved and then they fell apart. 😂😂😂😂

Awww what a shame the ball didn't take place. 😒That would have been so amazing. This was so fun. I love vlogs and when we have the "hubs" make a guest appearance it is a complete win!! Thanks to both of you. 🥰 I just adore yall. Now lol I read the first two of these physically many moons ago, yet I started listening to them on audible a week ago when we were on spring break from work. I am loving the listen this time around. Again this was great and what a great sport Danny, my husband would look at me crazy if I ask him to read anything much less Fae P**N...LOL

I guess I am behind I've never heard of graphic audio until you mentioned it. I'm just listening on the Amazon audible. I am definitely going to check into the graphic version. sounds...well next level. 😊

Yeah, we were gutted 😔 Hopefully we can go to a similar event another time. I bought elf/fae ears and everything haha 🧝‍♀️ Maybe we'll go to a ren fair or something. Yes, we are currently listening to the second book 🙈 I think he is surprisingly invested 😆
