besides the blockiness of the diamonds in the diamond block, it looked sooo realistic, but the piston was my favourite, especially because of the extra lighting which felt on it because of the extension

All of these look so good, my favorite is the beacon, great job!

May I ask why he shouldn't have "RTX" in the thumbnail? I feel like "RTX" and "4K" are eye catchers to those who are interested in gaming and tech in general, or am I wrong? I do agree that it can get old to see "RTX" plastered in every game design video thumbnail, but I believe it grants the creator more views. I most likely would not have clicked on the video if it weren't for the "RTX ON" in the thumbnail. Thanks in advance for your input! God Bless

amazing video. I absolutely love that you also have custom sounds for the "realistic" blocks. small criticism though. it's quite odd to see glowing objects have a shadow, like the glowstone and the beacon's beam

I mean, they would have a shadow, wouldn't they? I don't know about the beacon beam (If it's made of light or something, it probably wouldn't cast a shadow), but the glowstone is still a physical object. It stops the sun's rays from hitting the ground behind it, and doesn't completely eliminate the shadow at such a shallow angle because it's just not bright enough to do so. If you held a lightbulb or some mega glow-in-the-dark thing up, it would probably cast a shadow, too.

good video, but I think the back and forth transitions at the end were a little distracting. I personally think it would run better as showing just the rendered footage considering we already know what the blocks look like normally. Keep up the good work!

Absolutely amazing work here! Something that would be interesting to note in the future is that anything that would produce light (such as a flame or in this case the beacon) does not cast a shadow. While the shadow allows us to understand where the light is, in real life light will not cast a shadow. You can test this by pointing a flashlight/torch at a lit candle and the flame will not produce a shadow.

For the glowstone block, it probably would have been better to create those bumps procedurally. Mind you, it might have taken just as long either way. Those blocks are pretty cool looking. It is actually amazing what one can create, and it is nearly all about lighting.

Graphic are already amezing but with sound effect it just feel real

substance painter is a life changer. I used to do everything on blender but man SP is at another lvl and it isn't even hard to learn

If you had a cobblestone model so you can recolour to match glowstone and add emission, glowstone, cobble use the same texture but with different colours
