If more of us got locs we’d be able to show our natural length much faster! I hope more people start doing locs so our natural hair can be more appreciated. Even if it’s loc extensions I hope more do this

Everyone else’s hair can’t do what our hair does. I love my microlocs but we can also wear our hair in Afros, braid outs, twist outs, flat ironed straight, curly, kinky, etc. If you ask me, we have been especially blessed. Not to mention, shrinkage equals good health.

I think we haven't learned all that our hair can do. Plus we haven't truly been free to wear our natural hair without issues.

God gave us various hair textures that are lively, and it's up to each individual person to eat right, and take the right care of their *own hair* for the fastest growth. And all of us don't like real long hair, even though we have it.

When I had microlocs, I also had thin temples so I braided them instead of twisting and that definitely helped with the unraveling.

My hair would shrink from 17 inches to 3-5 inches. It's because I have high porosity hair. It's frustrating.

Hi, just asking, could you do an actual wash and dry day on your locs, sometime?

I'll be 1 year micolocked in June. For my edges and the entire back half of my head that refused to loc, I ended up having a lady twist the end and interlock the entire loc. After that they didn't come out again.

I just got put onto your channel so I haven't seen all of your posts, but wanted to know...along your 6 month journey did you layer your locs at any point or is this just the way they have grown up until this point? In some of your slides sometimes it seemed a bit longer and almost all the same length, (video where you were showing your parts/pattern in the back (1/2 up in a scrunchy and 1/2 down). Did you manipulate them in anyway for them to fall the way they do up until this post? Thank you for sharing your journey, I am very much enjoying watching the process and have started my journey as of last night because of it. Wish me luck! ;-)
