I LOVE Koka, their instant singaporean noodles is SO good, the coconut milk in it is just delicious, but it's also good as dry. Not a lot of people know about it, but it's a MUST try. 😭🤌💞

😂 same thought for a second but than I remember crashing maggie curry noodles, adding boiling water + slice of cheese on top of it and microwaving it for a minute so water does not evaporate completely and it stays soupy and savoury. I literally fell in love with this And never went back to missing any korean Spicy noodles so far.

Cutting ramen, adding sauce before the noodles are cooked I’m literally gonna get a heart attack

To give everyone context as to why she was cutting the noodles this is because in another video she was showing off a Japanese knife she bought and decided to cut the noodles to show how sharp it is. If you check the video she also used the same footage for cutting the noodles

@@nelsonwilkins347 eat with a spoon and chopsticks if you want, put noodles in spoon, and eat. It works well but you’d now have to clean one more thing while doing the dishes.. :,) Or.. use your chopsticks to help the noodles get in your mouth, you don’t need to slurp noodles. Or you can kind of wrap the noodles around your chopsticks then eat, or you can eat with a fork and then kind of wrap it. Or you can bite off the noodle you want, and let the rest get back in the bowl! :) Sorry if some of this doesn’t make sense!

I believe I read somewhere that you can compare water and spiciness to water and oil: they don't mix, water only serves to spread the spicicness. Dairy on the other hand does help because it contains something that breaks down what causes spiciness, similar to how dish doap breaks down grease. That's why milk helps do well to combat spiciness

cold water helps kinda bc capsaicin works by making your mouth feel abt 10degrees f hotter, so if you physically lower the temp of your mouth w sth cold that does genuinely help. hot soup, however, wont help wash the capsaicin away and will make your mouth even hotter than if there was no soup lol bc its more mass and it coats everything more than dry noodles. not sure if it physically spreads around, ive never heard that but it could be

i swear every friend group has that one friend that has a crazy good spice tolerance

What I recommend is when your almost done cooking it drain it and grabbed some cheese and milk pour some milk into the pot and your spicy sauce and turn the heat to low and mix until all the milk is absorbed and add cheese and mix and enjoy!

I typically get the pink carbonara buldak and I only put in a few drops lol, I like spice but I also like to enjoy my food

I was pretty devastated when I realized my Buldak 2x Spicy lost a lot of flavor with water. So I had to build up my spice tolerance the long (and painful) way until I could eat it without, lol

I add cream and cheese to make it less spicy

this is actually how i make the yellow package chicken and cheese one! (not in cup noodle form though.) i boil it in water, add the sauce, then top with the cheese/nori powder last. it actually tastes very flavourful! that one isn't really that spicy at all, i did this one time because i was craving noodles with broth, and it surprisingly came out delicious.

This is how I make instant ramen when I'm hungrier than usual. Dry ramen gets a soup with a shit ton of seasoning, I like the hot fire the ramen gives, but not it going out

Personally me I do it the other way I put the vegetables in the let the boiling water cook the noodles then put in the flavor packet it just tastes better that way😅
