What England really had is depth in attacking options in reality they lack centre backs John stones is not in best form rn Harry Maguire with ball can be a liability, you have problems at right back , there is no replacement at Declan rice position and ofc the squad lack team understanding as there is a shift to younger generation and everyone knows England can choke. Now we look at france a balanced and more experienced squad dembele and mbappe have played a lot of football together with Giroud or even thuram in mid Griezmann is more reliable than Jude at no.10 , rabiot/camavinga and tchuomeni/ kante are in good form lastly they have a better gk mike from Milan and the back line is solid as fuck varane , konate / upamacano/ pavard , kounde / theo Hernandez that's surely a better team than england
