I made an urban war-zone for this YouTuber...
Ойын-сауық
The #gijoe franchise has spawned some of the most played with #figure lines for decades and with the rise of the GI Joe Classified series from Hasbro in 2020, the property is full of life. I've always wanted to make a semi-destroyed urban war zone, which pairs perfectly with Joes, so today, that's what I am doing.
The #diorama I am making is a commission for a well-known KZreadr. Can you guess who it is based on the clues I give in the video?

@@vascotoys I hope you don’t mind I’m gonna copy some aspects of that brick wall. That’s my next dio project to try to make a brick wall , but I know it takes a lot of time & patience but I have that so I’m not worried . Quick question I bought the Proxon foam cutter on Amazon for 135 but I cannot find the jig where did you buy yours ?
Awesome work! I'll keep an eye out for that diorama in D-Amazing's future videos!

Thank you so much for sharing this incredible diorama creation process! 🎨🧱✨ The attention to detail and the versatility you built into the urban war-zone scene are just mind-blowing. 🏙💥🪖 I can’t wait to see how D Amazing uses this in his action figure photography. 📸🤩 Also, the tips on using different materials and techniques were super helpful. 🛠👏 How do you decide on the scale and proportions of the elements in your dioramas to ensure they look realistic and proportionate to the action figures? 🤔📏 Thanks again for the fantastic content! 🙌🌟

You're very welcome. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and leave me a comment. So the scale is almost always 1:12 scale on my builds because the figures I collect are 6". That is one of the easiest scales to work in because 1 foot in a real life structure equals 1 inch in the diorama. So, for example, the standard door is 3 feet wide x 7 feet tall, so in 1:12 scale that would be 3" x 7". Hope that helps!
Amazing! You are so talented mate!

Amazing work as always! Love the look of those bricks. I also really like your method of gluing down individual tiles to the base. I need to try that. Looks like it creates a ton of options for selling the realism. Looking forward to what you come up with next!

This diorama project brought to you by the hydrating powers of water….🤔 Who doesn’t appreciate (okay some might say loathe) old school dio brickwork. Very well balanced and the biased angle keeps it from getting stagnant at different angles. Great job Vincent.

Got a question for you man. I want to make some ladders out of wood dowels and stirring sticks. What glue would you recommend? I’m thinking I’d need something that dries super fast as I’d be glueing each step to the side supports.

Good question. It's not the easiest thing to quantify because I have to stop and figure out what angles I need to shoot as I do each step of the diorama. Most of my large dioramas take 4-8 weeks (working on them in my spare time after other responsibilities).
DAmazing is my guess😅 Building dioramas seems like so much fun to me. I've only customized my figures but I want to eventually get tools and materials to build stuff like this. Keep up the great work!

Hey! You can get some opaque plastic for the windows. I actually use vegetable cutting mats from Dollar Tree that come in two packs for $1.25. Those would work great for that.
