if you are wondering what that blue and white checkpoint is, its a geode mod called prism menu. it has a bunch of options like jumping in air, adjusting the textsize, and alot more.

Hey! Im trying to make an infinite random generated mining game in gd, you basically need to mine as deep as possible to get chests that upgrade your tools, i only need to know how to generate +10000 blocks with the least ids as possible, and also toggle them separately

There are 2 ways to make a level infinite, way 1. Use this video, way 2. Open the editor and set game type to platformer mode, save the level and boooom! (THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR 100 LIKES!

Way 3, get a 9x9 grid of empty spaces, place teleport triggers in each corner of your grid, connect the teleport triggers to each other, and then they will be in an infinite loop, you can do this to make a level any length you want with a time trigger, or if you want an infinite one, no triggers other than teleport triggers.

Bruh just put 2 teleport portals opposing eachother and set the cyan one to a group id then give the orange one the group id the blue one is targeting (cyan has to be further on the X axis)

Way 5: Make a randomized level in a corridor, and add a reverse trigger with multi-trigger activated at the end of the corridor. Randomize the gameplay again, and close off the “start”.

My thoughts on how you could make a level like this is have a pickup at the end of a level, like say level 1, that would persist between attempts, and then just kill the player, and then they respawn at level 2. And if they don't collect it, they respawn at the beginning. Then, you can give the option to continue or end the level after a certain amount of attempts. That would be a cool way to get more difficult as it progresses.

My friend made Infinite Decode, which if you clear it comically says "1" and starts again. At 30 clears you get the first coin, 60 second, 90 third, and then you can escape it lol. Pretty similar idea, but actually really different

You can easily do this now even without putting gameplay past the edit with separate portals, by going on the blue teleport portal and going to edit special, then chose the group to activate, make sure it is a free group so it won’t teleport into a random position, then get the orange teleport and go to edit group, make sure it is the same group that you chose for the blue portal in edit special so it will work, you can redo this more than twice in your level too, it even works in classic mode

Hey, I have an idea. How about you add goals in terms of meters, and once you reach a goal, you get a collectible that is worth X amount of points by how difficult the goal is, then players can compete for the most points.

the thing i think is very cool is the fact that the level cant be the same thing after completing it (which means it can be easy or hard depending on your luck)

Problem is that perlin noise is used in terrain generation, Geometry Dash doesn't use terrain. Even if you did, it wouldn't work well
