I really hope they make a better way to get breezes, because this seems like the kind of item you go through a lot of in a short amount of time and if you can only get 20 of them per hour from each spawner, I want more!

@@casualgoats yeah, when you are able to/willing to dupe, probably nothing is going to be rare. However, in my singleplayer worlds, I'm strictly against any hacks and glitches. I would probably have to alter the farm, as I consider the trapdoors as glitches

Trial spawners spawn more mobs if you have more players around it so does it mean that the farm rates are better if you have more players afking? Its probably better to have players afking at different spawners if you have more people but it would be nice to know!

I really hope mojang makes a faster way of getting these, that 30 minute cooldown is kind of insane. Also, could you just move the breezes away from the spawner rather than making them switch dimensions? and how far would you have to move them if so?

Why not replace the composter with a cobweb, does it not help with the 'pushing around' problem?

I feel like this now opens the chance to take away firework functionality with elytras While these can keep you in the air, they don't directly propel you This would be the perfect time to buff other means of transportation, such as horse and boat speed

Player's are used to being able to fly these days, so no matter what the firework boosts are almost guaranteed to stay forever. I don't see a way to remove that functionality without upsetting a LOT of players. Anyways, the major issue with horses is their hitbox size, something that won't be changed, they are plenty fast, but get caught up in trees, rivers, and mountains. They can also randomly wander off too, so you need to dig a hole or carry a lead and fence posts to use them reliably. Boats meanwhile are perfectly fast, especially ice boats, but at those speeds server performance is the limiting factor because if the world doesn't load you can fall through it or get stuck. However boats require a lot of water/ice to use or a lot of infrastructure. The elytra ignores all of these problems by flying over obstacles so they are the strongest option by default, no matter how you buff other transportation methods they won't come close because their flaws are unfixable. And at this point the Elytra is too ingrained into the game to nerf that badly, removing the firework boosts would upset a TON of players, so it'd be a bad move no matter how you look at it. Even if they were nerfed, people would just combine them with tridents/punch bows or make laggy launchers all over to use them. Essentially what I'm saying is there are some Genies you can never put back in the bottle.

@@RaysWorks An idea is throw a pearl down to get no knockback frames so u dont get impacted by the charge, then wind charge your opponent up in the air and crystal them

No, PersistenceRequired also removes the mob from the mob cap which means trial spawner mobs won't affect the mob cap at all

It would just be an auto clicker and dropper keeping you full of buckets. You could eventually use the crafter to make buckets with iron from an iron farm.

It sucks that an item which you will use up so fast is so slow to farm. I hope this thing gets some kind of "long term" use

you can’t block off monster spawners, only trial spawners. they use different mechanics.

Does transporting them to nether resets the timer for trial chambers?

I think, the trail will count as defeated once the breezes are all on the other side, since entities switching dimensions will actually be recreated in the code. Haven't tested though

If the breeze can't take projectile damage, then it might not work in bedrock

Really wish there was less use of creative in build tutorials for farms you’ll use in survival. “And then switch to survival mode..” hearing that really makes me not want to continue with methods you use here lol, would rather use survival friendly methods.

maybe the first design would be more for you, and then if you decided later you needed fully automated wind charges, you could go back in to put forth the extra effort this is a BRAND new item whose use cases are still being came up with, i seriously doubt you’ll need an immediate automated stockpile

@@RaysWorks Of course creative is faster, what i’m saying is i wish creative wasn’t used since it is possible in survival. Creative could/should be used for initial setup before the tutorial begins, but i feel like to give a good feel for what actually building the farm will be like, it should be done in survival. Hovering, instantly breaking blocks, and not having mobs target you is heavily overlooked by creators when making farms in general, so its nice when the extra effort is put in to show some of the difficulties you may run into when building the farm in survival.
