Hey Emil, you can avoid the layer line in resin pours by doing the second pour before the first one has completely finished hardening

I did not expect a Troll 2 reference in a Squidmar video and I'm very happy for it

I love the idea that the powerclaw also grows with the ork

Brilliant idea, now you can do all the races in Fetus form, i would love to see a necro fetus in a jar, maybe a slight green glow from its core

I’m curious why you did two pours when you can see the dividing line, is it because the resin gets too hot if you pour it too deep? Looks rad by the way 👌🏽

I love this idea of a wizard or scientist keeping these jars of alien species for further experiments. You guys should try and make a life sized ork head sculpt in a preserved jar to go alongside your fetus. Could be the parent’s head for the extra grimdark.

Technically all Ork hair is just a special Squig they stick on the top of their Head. Canonically all Orks are bald. minor detail only Ork fanboys like me would know =P

I have just started getting into these miniatures and things like warhammer the last few weeks, i have to say i love the orks. Your channel has everything i need to know as i love more collecting and art side of things. I will be starting to paint following your tutorials i sat up all night watching. Soo scary but you are right, only looks scary

Ist the line between the first pour and the second one coming from the inconsistent yellow color, or something else? That’s the only flaw I see with this amazing work. Love the idea and the orc a lot.

The color being slightly different makes it more noticeable, but it's just how layered pours work. There are ways to make it better, like doing the second pour while the first is still gummy, but they are riskier. Doing a single pour is the only way to prevent it, but that much in single pour without doing it in a temperature controlled environment would boil.

I'm so steali.... uh.... borrowing this idea and sculpting a fetus ork in a jar.

It’s kind of funny. At certain camera angles with its claw and the expression on its face, looks like it’s giving the middle finger.

Love the idea, you lost me with the hair though. Orks are canonically bald from conception. The only way orks ever have hair is because of a hair squig. Still love yalls work and am ecstatic to see you using art mediums that your still learning with. Keep up the great work.

I have been a follower for a couple of years or so I love your channel. The WARLORD TITAN diorama was amazing. Even with all the setbacks, it came out stunning. But any how to the point I have a couple cheap airbrushes but after watching your channel and seeing you even had a collaboration to design your own airbrush I knuckled down a scrimped and save for the last year and I finally got to buy one of the ones you recommended on you page I got the Harder and Steenbeck Infinity 2in1 Two in one Airbrush 126543 Can't wait to try this out on my miniatures as I am a disabled Home bound guy that spends way to much time on youtube but the silver lining was finding your channel . Thank you for all you tips tricks and awesome content

What a cool concept and the execution was awesome. Can we all appreciate what an absolutely great artist Lukas is. From his freehands and the painting backdrops he has done to this sculpting. Mad skills and he is getting alot more comfortable in front of the camera. Channel is by far the best warhammer painting channel on the internet. Well done to you both.

This is not what I expected at 5:50am on a Wednesday morning, but here we are, and I'm all aboard!

Perhaps pouring with the jar laying down/inclined would make the seam less visible. But that's me really nitpicking and talking stuff i have no idea about. Amazing job!

I think you just need to do a single pouring. Too many things can happen between the end of the last pour and the start of the new pour that can easily mess it up. There could be dust and debris landing on top layer, the second layer might not be exact mix of dye/resin, or particulate from pouring onto the model and only going halfway rising to the top of the first layer, creating another inconsistentancy

i thought Orks grow like Mushrooms until they are "harvested" ... like their Squigs too... (Warhammer Orks! and in LotR the Uruk-Hai grow in slimy Sacks in the Soil) but i like the Idea that they are born the "normal" way just like us too. Why you did the resin in 2 steps? now theres a thin line or is it extra done like that?

Orks do no have hair, the ones with "hair" really have a swab squig attached to their heads. They also do not have belly buttons, as they are mushrooms. Anyway, COOL!
