There is a KZreadr musician named SeamlessR (The R is silent…), who makes a lot of his very complex Dubstep and Electro music with only FL Studio stock stuff. His main sound-design weapons are Harmor, Sytrus, Maximus, Patcher, Vocodex etc., but he uses some third-party stuff these days, like Serum, orchestral stuff and most of his drum samples are from Black Octopus Sound. Really good content, a lot of stuff is also really transferable (like, I watch his videos and I don't even use FL, I use Cubase).

they are "lights" and colors, and it appears like a toy, nothing professional. The UI of FL is a total garbage, confusing and the workflow is veryslow. Now I'm on Bitwig, but I came from Ableton..... from Cubase 5....and, yes, I startd with Fruity Loops 3.56 (some years). I always went sometimes to have fun with FL new versions, but it's clear that FL made its time; i cannot click 10 times to make the same thing I can do in Ableton with a single click. And what about thse colors? Is it a toy for a teenager or a real DAW? People need something NOT DISTURBING during big production sessions, FL is a joke. My first love but, hey...now it's a toys for my eyes. It has a air of cool features....the problem is that Bitwig and Ableton is totally another level, the pro level...FL not .
