facts this applies to beat making in general. cookup at least 1 beat a day for 5-10 years and its hard to not get better and almost guaranteed you will see results

@@jerrystackpaper nah making 10 mid beats everyday isnt as productive as making 2-3 that you actually work on. Make at least 1 a day and actually put effort into it. Thas 365 decent beats vs 1200 mid beats it only takes 1 to get u a hit trust me

@@JAYSPLASHMUSIC fax. not saying u shouldn't make 10 beats a day. If u can and you're fully happy with how they sound, rock with it. If u aren't fully happy tho, I think you shouldn't finish them in 10 minutes. That's how you develop your sound. If you're not doing it for the money you literally got all your life to figure out what your sound is. What you wanna see take shape and form in the real world. That's how genres develop. I loved trap growing up. I resonate with it. My first beats were trap beats. I deceived myself by thinking I couldn't do trap because the market is saturated with it. I wanted to be ''original.'' Boy was I wrong... All that to say, type beats are good because you're trying to replicate someone elses art and turn it to a business. If people resonate with it, there's a clear reason for it. Art shapes itself through time. We vibe and we advance. People holding back movements is a form of self-indulgence and bigotry that holds the world back. You realize how people can hold back a whole universe of possibilities. I equate this to politicians who share different values. It turned to an extreme last century and look what happened. We have to learn from our mistakes. The more people do art, the more possibilities and careers that are made. The more lives are impacted and the more missions there are to accomplish. It's awesome if that's what u wanna do for living, or a side hustle. If up-and-coming artists are willing to listen to your beats, or even purchase them you have to be mindful of the blessing that is. That life path might not be for you though. So don't beat up yourself if that's the case. Like anything in life, ask yourself why things aren't going the way you want them to go. Producers burn out for many different reasons. Find yours if you wanna make it into this niche area.

I did this same challenge around May of this year 2023 and my account is old. Your advice is right on. My most successful beats were the ones I thought had the least potential, so make sure to upload the ones you are not confident in anyway. I got added to a bunch of playlist and I continue to see growth. Avoid checking the stats. I would suggest putting effort into your thumbnails but don't waste too much time on it and create a template. Best of luck to all getting into this. Don't give up! There's a market for everyone

Great video bro. Being a KZreadr is pretty much like the best job ever. It's like running business, and you just need to offer your viewers what they need or want. Starting channel can be tough, but there are also tools like Famester which can massively help to kick start your channel and pretty much never worry about algorithm and constant changes.

I made beats on another channel for 3 years(mainly 2 because I wasn’t as consistent the first year) and I never got a beat to 1k views without google ads. Also had around 300 subs, but every upload I had only got like 10-20 views and 1 like or 0, and barely any sales, shit was depressing. It’s all luck when it comes to the algorithm, of course you need skill to make a dope beat, but I’ve even heard shitty beats that have a lot of views and who don’t use good thumbnails, tags or titles . I also think KZread shadow bans a lot of beat channels because we are trying to get viewers off of KZread and to our beat store. KZread is also over saturated af with beat channels and videos, so maybe the algorithm punishes channels that have: (free) future x drake type beat 2023, like so many channels use that title with different artists

I did this for 30 days but at this point my channel was not new anymore. I didn't sell any beats and I had two beats get to around 300 views. I did get much better at drums and producing though. Not sure what will work, but I will keep experimenting. It's been around 70 days of uploads (not every day) and I still haven't sold a beat. Idc though I trust the process

great vid! I was wondering, do you think it's a good idea to start fresh on a channel you already have that has a bit of subscribers but was posting content completely different than type beats?

I arranged it the following way now: 1 R&B, 1 Afro R&B and 1 Afrobeat per week. Was thinking if I stick to this it won‘t mix up the algorithm too much. Or would you recommend doing 3 separate channels but rather uploading once a week only?

From experience I can say that the real difficulty is not to explode the channel, but to maintain constant growth over time, my channel has had a rapid growth between 2020 and 2021, from 5000 subscribers I went to 50,000 in a short time, uploading only 2/3 beats a week (better quality than quantity) until the algorithm began to turn against each publication, Now I have such embarrassing results that I find it hard to believe that after 2 years of consistency this has happened. Unfortunately, a Type Beat channel has an average duration of 1/2 years what makes the difference is the construction of a system that supports the traffic that refers to the website

Its really hard to give a definite answer. 290 tracks seems like you should be in a way better spot than you are so id say try out a new channel at least

Anything that comes down to marketing and search strategies are not luck. As long as KZread continues to operate from a search dependent model Type anything is going to work. All you're doing with a Type Beat is creating a search term for KZread to use to direct your video to people who look for that specific kind video.
