I definitely approve of the shiny coloration, and while I may not agree with shiny aggron’s shiny coloring (I like the shiny variants that are more noticeable and pleasing to the eye, so that’s just my opinion), purple is a solid color preference. I’m a fan of shiny Swampert, personally- not sure if it’s enough to be my top favorite but it’s definitely a contender.

Though I can get behind Swampert, as when I was younger it looked meh to me but over the years I've come to really appreciate it. If it weren't for Sceptile it'd be my favorite gen lll startter shiny.

Hi! Barbaracle enjoyer here. Barbaracle is a group of barnacles that have combined into a barbarian! Barnacles are small soft ocean creatures smaller than a kernel of corn that create a shell around them and cement themselves to rocks or other things like crab shells or maybe even whales. Over time, they can get bigger than a quarter as they make bigger shells! They stick a fan out of the hole in the center that reaches out and drags back plankton for consumption. Having the fan be shaped like a hand is an interesting interpretation! These creatures often live together in colonies, much like coral or sponges do. Barbaracle's colony can proctect itself with its barbaric fists 😊

That barnacle creates a stalk to sit apon and then creates its shell around it at the top, leaving the shell looking like claws due to the rose-petal-like formation of the shell walls, that is, forming a side then switching to another random direction

So back in like 2015 I looked up all the gen 6 shinies just to look at them and for some reason my memory decided to make it a weird ephemeral knowledge base because I got all of these right, like I immediately knew talonflame was wrong because "it actually looks like a fire type when it is shiny" popped into my head. Great questions and great edits though!

i’ve learnt from this that apparently i have a lot of shiny gen 6 pokémon because a bunch of these questions i got right just due to having them sv had a flabebe mega outbreak event and i got all the shiny versions

I got all 14 questions right bc of how much i love Kalos lol Even named the XY songs I heard throughout the video! I’ve put WAY too much time into gen 6 and most of the shinies in this video were ones I’ve been trying to hunt anyway, but it was fun to watch! Another great Noki video :)

I know there are people who only started at Sun and Moon and havent played the X and Y games but the little to no knowledge they had of what the megas looked like is kinda wild

I got the Carbink question right not because of the _actual_ reason the shiny was different, but because I remembered the body being MUCH darker than the Home sprite shows. I then searched on Google what does shiny Carbink look in-game and it was, in fact, darker than the Home sprite lol; in Home it looks almost the same as regular Carbink, which is an weird change to make.

I got it wrong and was shocked since I have a shiny carbink in us/um and I swore he was the same shade of blue all over since I loved him for his blue, but I guess since I haven't played in years I just forgot the small differences

I love that they put a maple story sound track in this video. That just takes me back like 20 years ago.

Only missed 11 and 13. I had a shiny Tyrunt in PoGo and for some reason it’s rendered darker in-game than the image that Noki used, and I genuinely thought that mega Metagross was a solid silver/gold.

13/14 sadly, somehow got tripped up on the Metagross question since I thought Gallade’s cape was black like Gardevoir’s dress but I still did well

I didn't even FLINCH at the flabebe question fr, caught it 15 times to get all the forms in scarlet! Same with Charizard X, one of my faves!!

Not only did they get the first one wrong, they both picked THE MOST ICONIC SHINY of the megas

I was the same. This is the gen I've played the least apart from the first 2 gens. And I got nearly all of them right.

I hunted for almost 20 hours on and off for talonflame once and use it constantly for egg hatching so immediately I knew it was wrong without knowing what some of the others shinies even looked like

I am proud of myself for getting everything right besides mega shiny metagross. I do feel like this one was just really easy, because the gen 6 games were very popular and it's newer than other generations that you did a quiz for. the shiny are basically so "fresh and new" that I just know them really well in comparison.

Yeah I got the Talonflame question right, at first I thought it was my monitor making it look more orange but I trusted my instincts and remembered it being much more red instead of orange! Tyrunt stumped me though, I was certain the blue was consistent! I got the Flabebe bonus question because the Flabebe line is one of my favorites!

Managed a 13/14, only missing the fossil question. Same line of thought as Tos. Worst part was I figured that if I was wrong that Noki had just recolored Tyrunt to match Tyrantrum because it was the one I didn't know, so well played Noki.

I got 13/14! The metagross question tripped me up because I hadn't actually seen a lot of any of those megas, and I was more suspicious of gallade not having more blue on it. Love these quizzes and I'm excited for gen 7!
