Really thought that one master question would be " that is wooloos shiny, not dubwool" and it would've been the funniest thing ever

Funny thing about the Master Tier. Salandit’s bundle was good, but it was actually the eyes that got me to choose Salandit. I didn’t even notice the back was wrong. Other than that, I had a perfect record.

I failed miserably at most of them lol. Also I was rooting for Tos the whole time but after seeing what he spent his money on I take it all back

The first master question is impossible, they’re all correct! Ribombee is pink, grapploct is red yellow and white, roserade has purple and black flowers, and mimikyu is gray!

I got 13/15 plus the Bonus. Questions 13 and 14 caught me off guard. I really thought Bonsly's shiny was the same as Sudowoodo so i went Magnemite since i dont remember its magnets looking so white. Then I thought Accelgore didnt have such a bright pink stripe on its face. Still I have pretty good knowledge on shiny pokemon. This was fun.

I knew minum immediately. It was my second shiny in Pokémon go and I hunted it for so long and I was so happy when I got the greatest shiny of plusle and minum.

This was extremely intense and it even felt like I was competing with Mimik and Tos! With some lucky guessing in the bonus question, I actually got every single one right. I'd love to see more of these!

If you made Skuntank a slight darker red...I would've guessed wrong because I've always thought it was a darker red, like velvet red. But since it was blue, easy. Between Breloom and Liligant I was shaking a bit there... But I knew Breloom wasn't pink. Zangoose always stands out to me as one of the shinies I know most, even though I don't think I've ever had one. I knew Azurill was wrong, but I was telling myself it was a bright yellow... But that's Azumarill... I got it right regardless, but for some reason I was seeing bright yellow Azurill in my head or I was thinking you were trying to be tricky by making it gold-ish. You were tricky with Decidueye, but I always knew it had a neon color to its shiny, and your coloring made it look to dark. I forgot what Shiny Centiscorch 's back color was, but I KNEW it wasn't yellow. I was thinking pink. Hydreigon another shiny I've never had, but I remember, I think, in the Victini movie, depending on which movie you watch, there's a Shiny Golurk and Shiny Hydreigon. So that stuck with me. The stars on Alcremie looked sus, even though never had that shiny either, but always wanted it. Huh... Wonder why I never went for it... Oh well. FRICK! My first loss. Roserade DID look sus, but I was questioning Ribombee's scarf... Dangit!! OMG! I still got it right with Bonsly, but I was thinking the shrubs were the fake color and the body was purple, but in fact, the shrubs are purple! So I had the right thought process, I knew there was purple missing! I knew Heracross was off and I too thought it was darker pink or purple. Either way, still right! Cascoon was sus tho. I KNEW THE EYES WERE OFF ON SALANDIT!!!! I KNEW IT!!! It was just far too grey too, it had to have some more color on it. Admittedly, I don't remember ever seeing Shiny Wormadam, but it was sus, and I should've stuck with my gut, but I said Regice too. I know I'm watching these in backwards order, but I have one more to watch, and this one is my best so far!

11/16. I hated that starter question, it was so hard to decipher whether Decidueye kept the green feathers by its head.

Hey so actually Tos was completely right on the bonus too. The shiny for Regice is a deeper blue on all official sources I've looked at as well as the games. I think I see where the mistake came from: when I searched for shiny Regice I happened to find the picture you used on the quiz, and it linked to a Millenium article on where to find it in in BDSP, where it showed that image and labeled it as the shiny. I think the article actually straight up edited the image of regular Regice with more contrast or something? I thought they might have switched the images or switched the labels, but the edited "shiny" Regice is much lighter than the regulars I'm seeing anywhere else, let alone the shinies. In gameplay of BDSP the shiny is a deeper blue, so I think something happened with that image itself unfortunately. Either way Tos would have won but yeah I just thought I'd point it out in case you didn't know. I don't blame you- even the article messed it up some how HJKFHD

This got me confused too. Also on the google images search it showed Shiny Regice with a deeper blue than in the bonus question. Luckily it didn't matter for the outcome.

I also thought it was weird. I was so sure the shiny was a less vibrant/bright color so it got me confused.

Please do more rounds of these, theyre so much fun to watch. I only got about half of them right, I flopped on all the master questions, but oddly enough the bonus question was one of the easiest ones to me lol

I got a 14/16 - only because the heracross, ribombee, and bonsly. I thought that ribombee's wing/undereye accents changed a bit - they did, but not enough, so I missed it! The heracross hurt - at some point, I started telling the harder ones apart (like Alcremie) by if the photoshop looked off- the Alcremie had a yellow ring around the stars and a few other pixels. The heracross's eyes looked a bit uncrisp, agh... The photoshop is the main reason Salandit stood out to me, tho, since the eyes looked a bit pixelated at the edges, and I thought it had purple. i uh, had no idea what bonsly looked like, though.

The second that Centiscorch came onto the screen my eyes went "WRONG!"

This was really well made, I really struggled with the master questions. I missed #11-#14 but got everything else, this one was much tougher you're getting really good at this!

16 is my final point score, I now have a eternal grudge against bonsly

Not me missing 15 because I heard “dubwool”, saw the wooloo, thought “oh obviously it’s dubwool, they wouldn’t totally remove the spots for the shiny” and SOMEHOW ZEROED IN ON THAT SO HARD AND FAST THAT I DIDNT NOTICE IT WAS NOT A DUBWOOL AT ALL???

I must have a problem because I knew every single fake shiny lol. This was rly fun to test my knowledge though!!! Definitely cool to see how just slight alterations to pokemon can throw people off, and how you can completely change a shiny yet it can somehow give off the same vibes as its original (See Decidueye, THAT was a super good fake.)

So, is no one talking about the last question (not including bonus) that the Wooloo is called dubwool? Saying this just in case that I’m not going crazy.

(for the bonus) Wormadam was a clever one, but I remember that head from anywhere (I've fought like 50 shiny wormadam in my life)

15/16 that Heracross got me, only got Wormadam cause I hunted it recently. Good quiz all around

I smiled so much on #4. I knew that one instantly because that was my first shiny ever, in one of my favorite games of all time. To this day, my favorite shiny in all of Pokemon

I'm surprised at how genuinely well I did at this. I had some points where I was stuck in a 50/50, but I quickly used what knowledge I had on a lot of these shinies as well as deductive reasoning to just single out the ones I knew were right, and got them correct. The only ones I screwed up on were Questions 12 and 14. I thought Ribombee had blue wings as a shiny, I didn't realize that it still changed to match its body color. And I didn't pay attention to Heracross' eyes. I did pay closer attention to the eyes in Question 15 and got Salandit right, but I didn't know that mark on its back was orange instead of black. The Bonus Question was surprisingly easy when i took a second look at all four Pokemon and realized, "You just have regular Wormadam in here." Lol. Really fun quiz regardless, and I'm curious if there will be more in the future.

I have played half of one Pokemon game, so I wasn't doing well at these (watched a couple of your vids), until about halfway through this one when I stopped looking at it from a color-theory/pokemon-design perspective and started looking at it from an editing perspective, and my accuracy skyrocketed in the harder sections. Azurill's shading was completely off for that tone of yellow; it was so clearly hue-shifted. Hydreigon was a similar deal; the shading on the kind of teal part of the fake shiny looked off; not enough apparent contrast. Alcremie's stars are so flat (shading issues again?) and also have a slight halo. Roserade admittedly I got right for the wrong reason (I thought the gray looked too flat). Bonsly's baubles were too dull in the shading (especially when it's right beside Charjabug) and also have a bit of a halo (tho I thought Charjabug also had a halo so maybe that's just something with the red on the black/gray BG. I know Cursola and Slugma off the top of my head, and with Wooloo being slightly brownish, I didn't think you would have edited it to stand out from the others, leaving only Salandit. And Wormadam I saw in one of the other videos so I just remembered it. (For the easy ones before the new strategy: I know Skuntank's shiny off the top of my head, Tapu lele was a 50/50 because it and Tapu Fini were wayyyy too close in hue, I knew Staraptor Zigzagoon and Jigglypuff all off the top of my head, same logic as them for Minun; they wouldn't change it that much if they kept Plusle so similar, and Breloom I know off the top of my head.) So 12 correct I feel pretty proud!

Woah I just got one wrong, even got the bonus round! Tos definitely deserves the win though, even after the whole voltorb incident...

The only one I got wrong was Heracross. I forget that eye color can play into effect, but eye color is also one of the things that made me get Salandit right. On the bonus one, I was instantly like- “Wormadam. Those are normal colors. It’s shiny slightly changes to be blue.” Surprised they didn’t get that one right.

1: Skuntank and Porygon 2 we’re suspicious for me, I thought skuntank was either more pink or a green, and porygon just didn’t look right to me, and I chose B- I thought yanmega looked sick with that blue (correct!) 2: Obviously chose A for Tapu Lele :P (correct) 3: I knew Zigzagoon and Jigglypuff were real for sure, and I knew what color shiny Dundparce was because I’ve been watching the “Evolving shiny dunsparce until I get a 3-segment dudunsparce” series XD (correct) 4: I knew for sure that dedenne and Pikachu were real, and I knew minun was absolutely not pink (correct) 5: the only one I felt confident in was Lilligant, I wasn’t sure about anyone the others but chose A cuz that was a very weird color for breloom and I actually like the real shiny (correct) 6: I knew pelipper and bagon was green, and decided on C cuz I feel like I would have known if zangoose was green (correct) 7: I knew pineco was gold, was suspicious of azurill and kricketune but chose C (correct) 8: I knew it wasn’t A or C and decided B was the fake but was hesitant with Sceptile (correct) 9: I thought for sure that Centiscorch was white but I was still right (correct) 10: I knew B and D were real, was slightly unsure of Hydreigon but decided on C for Noivern because what the heck happened to my boy (INCORRECT) 11: I knew delibird was pink, I chose A even though I doubted alcremie (INCORRECT) 12: I thought either Roserade or Ribombee, but chose D because the red scarf looked weird with the pink (INCORRECT) 13: I was pretty sure of Magnemite and Tailow, so I chose D (correct) 14: I was certain with Heracross, thought Cascoon was familiar, and I chose C because I thought that pink was supposed to be green XD (INCORRECT) 15: I was confident in Slugma and Wooloo, and felt that salandit was suspicious (correct) Bonus: I chose B just because I was fairly certain on every other shiny (correct) 12/16 13 points :D

Zangoose is my #1 favorite pokemon. On first sight, very obvious, but also an extremely cool alternate shiny that could definitely work.

I stumbled up on Decidueye cause I’ve never seen that shiny BUT I remember in LoA with those Burmies, I remembered they were a slight blue. I got Wormadam right 🎉

I realized Salandit was wrong because of the eyes, I remembered them being more purple. But funnily enough I completely forgot about the orange stripe on the back, I actually have a shiny one of these so you'd think I'd remember the more obvious difference better 😆.
