I Made A Lens Out Of An Agfa Loupe - Agfa Loupe Lens Challenge

I used an Agfa 8x Loupe to make a lens for my Olympus Micro Four Thirds camera. It was pretty easy to do and made for some interesting results. It is similar to a Holga lens but with a much shorter focal length of approximately 20mm. The results are fun and interesting!

I found the Agfa loupe online but the price was very high so I found a copy that appears to be quite similar.

I love stuff like this, nowadays everything is supposed to be perfect. This lens is obviously not that, but it adds so much character to images that you just don't get with close to perfect lenses

Have had some challenges with my wife's health the last few months but things are settling down so I hope to get back to doing photography again.
Very interesting, Don. It would be cool to do some black and white or maybe even sepia shots with a setup like that.
