I Made a Huge Mistake When Visiting San Felix! 🇨🇴 Medellin , Colombia Day Trip 🇨🇴 in 4K
San Felix is the Paragliding destination from Medellin. I'm making a day trip to paraglide and try some regional food that the area is famous for, but I didn't plan well!
➡️ We'll go to San Felix starting with the metro. I'll take the metro from Estadio Station in Laureles to San Javier Station. At San Javier we'll need to switch to the metro cable cars to La Aurora Station. The cable cars are part of the metro system and offer some amazing views of Medellin! From La Aurora its another 25 minutes by taxi.
➡️ Once in San Felix we'll check out the paragliding and try some panchocha, a regional specialty. It resembles a grilled cheese but on another level! I wouldn't call it street food but the locals like to snuggle up on the hill side with a fire, hot chocolate and a panchocha and watch the paragliders sail by.
➡️ I didn't plan well and have a hard time returning to Setenta!

Thanks for watching! There is a spot of the way down where two cabs are meeting and one is actually on 3 wheels! You can see it if your paying attention but I forgot to mark it. It wasn't because of speed, just the angle and slope of the road!
Wow. What an experience. Hopefully you'll get to do it next time. Amazing how it got cloudy so fast.

It's really awesome when the wind is right. They take off and land at the same spot. It was my fault I didn't get to really, she told me it was perfect weather when I got there and I hesitated for about 30 minutes. When I was ready we had just finished the paperwork when the pilot said the weather changed. Next time no hesitation!
Wow what a great video ! But I was thinking if you ride also the paraglide maybe that is the best experience I think . Watching them riding the paraglide make me excited to experience but it looks scary though haha. Keep safe always .

That means no frakking way bro' that I would get on that! 😂🤣💡🤣😂🤣 If you go back up that way again, ask the cab driver to drop you off at Las Hamacas (The Hammocks). It's an old school Estadero with an awesome 😎 view of the city. I was there once with a gal. Nice place where you are eating the Pancho have. I lived there for 23 years and don't ever remember having that. Gotta go there when I get back. Next time wait for a bus that's going down to the city. Cabify or Uber will 95% of the time won't go up that way especially at that time on a Friday night or weekend night. They think it might be a set up. Nice vlog Brian. I really miss Antioquia the state, especially Envigado.

views in the cab of medellin at night is absolutely incredible. reminds me of that scene in inception where the city of paris is bent and contorted to perform an optical illusion.

Yes, and all but the 1 1/2 hours beside the road was a blast! I'd do it again.
I got videos riding my bike up to here! It’s a good hour climb. Super busy on the weekends

Not that time. They told me to come back in the morning but after the trouble getting back I didn't. In a few weeks I'll be returning to a place I have done it before. Near the tallest mountain. Thanks for watching amigo! I hope to see you on the move again soon.

I don't remember the name but it was the first one on the right past that restaurant. You could miss it if they weren't flying, it's just over the hill down about 10'

Going through my notes today, I found the info. Restaurante EL VOLADERO, KM 6 VIA SAN FELIX, Bello, Antioquia, Colombia The paragliding place is the first one up the hill on the right.
