Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°€) and grease a baking pan 2. Melt 1 cup of butter, mix with 2 cups of sugar. 3. Add 4 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla; mix well. 4. Sift in 1/2 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of cocoa, and 1/4 tsp salt; stir. 5. Optional: Add 1 cup of nuts or chocolate chips. 6. Pour into the pan, bake for 25-30 mins. 7. A better way to make the jump scare is add a broadcast block for when you lose and go to the jump scare and add. When flag clicked hide. When I receive “whatever you named the broadcast block” Show

Sure. I'll do my best quickly. Let's imagine that you're drawing a line between the cursor and the player. Hello, Scratch user here! Stating that Scratch has been "never used for" horror is blatant misinformation. There are tons of Scratch horror games out there (which admittedly aren't that good usually), mostly being FNAF games. Hope this is helpful!

Ima just criticize the techniques used for the games bc why not 4:09 Go to (mouse pointer) is a simpler/faster way to move the square to the mouse pointer (PolyMars) 4:41 No need for complicated math when you have the Point to (mouse pointer) block (Doorbell) 6:49 You don't need a separate sprite to take you to the next level, all you need is to adjust the collision scripts to touching (color) instead of touching (sprite) and add a differently colored square at the end, then use that to change the costume of the level, and voila (PolyMars) [Various points in the video] Instead of going through the trouble to use a similar editor, then take time to download the files, then take time to upload the files, you can just use the scratch costume editor (Polymars) 10:17 You don't need a separate "hidden" costume, you can just use the show and hide blocks (PolyMars) 10:48 You could use the Stop All block to prevent the immersion breaking with repeating the sound effect (PolyMars) (side note: after the sound effect is played, you can switch to an extremely small costume, zoom in, and switch back a few times to make it more like a jumpscare; you also should hide the player sprite when it appears)
