Hey Aki, just a small tip. Next time you want to do a purée, I definitely recommend adding some sort of liquid. Water obviously works, but you can also add other types for different results (broth for a more flavorful result, milk or cream for a creamier purée, etc). This also allows you to spread it much more easily, and makes it easier to purée in general ☺️ With that current texture, though, you could also make a quenelle of the blitzed edamame if you want that level of thickness while still making a “gourmet” style result. You shape the paste between two spoons until it creates an almost rounded shape, and then plate it as desired.

When making the puree. You can try adding a little water. It makes it easier to blend and it also makes the puree thinner. All in all you did good. Looks nice.

More of 'Aki Makes Gourmet Dishes at Home' please.... This Series is Just So Adorable
Aki mentioning that she saw comments saying she didn't put enough oil/liquid in the last puree then still not putting enough in this one physically hurt me ㅠ ㅁ ㅠ
Ever since I watched the Demon Slayer movie, I've been getting ads for the movie that are only the scene of Rengoku fighting the demon who wants him to become a demon himself. And every time I see the ad, I feel the urge to cry for at least an hour!
when the food processor broke and she called out "joeyyy" that was so cute ;-;
the blender could be struggling because it's a very dry and small amount of mix? You could try loosening it up with a bit of liquid next time you try to make puree :) I make a pea puree that I add a bit of milk and some seasonings into, which is nice, I imagine it'd be similar with edamame.

Why was I just scrolling through her channel and scrolled up and then boom! there's a video there's was no notification either and I'm subscribed
So i started to see aki's videos after I saw detective Aki on action in Joey's channel, and then i binged the entire detective aki series on her channel and was left craving for more (Stupendous job aki), and then i found her personality nice so i subbed, and i am enjoying the content. Great content Aki!
Perfect video to watch for a dinner break; not too long, full of laughs, and relatable moments, esp. tryna cook, but Aki's definitely better than me by a long shot haha.
Can we rename this series from making gourmet dishes from convinience store stuff to 'Aki tries (and fails) to make some freaking puree for 10 minutes straights'
Im no cook myself since I'm scared of everything in my kitchen but since my mom knows how to cook I know a bunch of stuff. The reason why you weren't capable of spreading it in 6:00 is because it was too thick, that why you add a bunch of olive oli so it can have kind of a liquited look and you're able to spread it also if we were to pick a name for the series Id say "Convenient Gourmet" is a good name
"Puh! Aow!" Wasn't expecting that intro! It's so cute! 😂
I have no compunction in admiring that a solid third of the reason I watch your videos is for the cute dancing animation at the end
Hits the spoon on the plate "Ow"
I need so many more of these omg
The "starring at the vegetables while they cook and turning it off when it feels like they are done" is just too real!
Ugh I love it when aki post it makes my day better
Mortar and pestle is not needed. Fun tip, if you don't have a juicer, you can extract juice from the fruit by blending it and pushing the pulp through a flour sieve, if the fruit has finer fibres, layer the sieve with a paper towel and push the pulp through it. I had to do that when making citrus curd from mandarins (from my sister's mandarin tree) and pomelos last month, it worked well.
The intro is so cute!! Loving these cooking videos. 🤩
Please bring this amazing series back! By making alot of different dishes!
I love watching you cook Aki!! Please do more 😁
