I really like the technique...but could you do one with voice over so i know what materials and processes you're using? I know it sounds silly but this one of those situation that I really want to try this, but i need the instructions as well as the visuals

I find my videos with voice over get less views... but I'm happy to answer any questions you have about the materials.

For future reference, you can add gauze bandage, burlap to reinforce your molds.

Oh I know... but that would not have helped with this one.. the mix was off and I overcompensated and that made it weak. At the point I realized it was setting too fast I had to sacrifice mold strength, to thin it out enough to capture surface detail. And it worked.

Thanks... there are better ways to do this, using a 2 piece mold... and molding the hands separately... But I wanted to see if I could do it with just a one piece mold.

What clay are you using buddy? I have a very difficult idea and this seems much better than making it from foam. You can also make as many as you want which i love! Secondary question, how did you go about making it the right size for your hand?
