Yes I would like that too! My daughter will need the ref when I make a mistake and need her to fix my math!
I love how the shiny wig hair added a contrasting finish to the matte of the fringe, without being obvious that it is hair. Never would have thought of that!

Fun projects, lots of humor, a cute host with a great personality, a willingness to proudly(debatable) show mistakes along the way, not to mention the reveals always being a blast. As someone who has never been into fashion or working with fabric, this might be one of my favorite channels on youtube. Great work!

Thank you so much!
The reason the cups didn't fit right was because they were the wrong base curve. The cups you used are a very tight curve that sits all in front, where as the corset was a flatter shape that wrapped around to the side more. As a result the corset was pulling the cup out of shape and not letting it sit the way you expected. I hope this helps and that you have less struggles on your next corset adventure. 🤩
Beautiful! My only recommendation is to add a waist tape to prevent stretching. It's amazing how much fabric in a corset can stretch given time.

Please do! Seems like a riot!
1. Loved it. Loved the use of scrap bits. Love seeing your process, including the failures, because it makes the end result that much more impressive and I feel better about making my own mistakes in my process. Seriously, loved it. 2. The elephant in the room must now be addressed: You made yourself a very attractive *hairy* chest. 😂😂. Love it.

Didn't think about this! But actually this is not my first project with hair, and this one is way less hairy than the first one with the raspunzel dress! Thank you so much!
What a beautiful corset! All the different decorations come together really well and the hair under the fringe is genius - it makes the fringe seem thicker and more luscious, with a little contrasting texture. Another vote for showing how you went from measurements to the pattern, please! Maths doesn't scare me at all. I know you said the cat isn't yours, but does the cat know that...? 😂

Math is a bit of a trauma for me since my bachelor in physics actually... But may be I can do a video to dive into it again! Applied in sewing it's way less intimidating
Just FYI. a good rule of thumb with "Spiral steel boning vs. Flatsteel boning" is that, for every boning channel that is Straight, you should use the flat steel. For all the boningchannels that have a curve to it, you should use spiral boning :D

@@leadidee So? I have a bachelors degree in textile craftmanship and textile maniputlation. (3,5 year education), i still learn new things about sewing all the time :D It just seemed that she wasnt sure if she wanted to use one or the other kind of boning, and just informed her of how one usually uses the different types. :D
Stunning work! Is this going to be Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist? Also as much as I hate math I would absolutely watch a detailed corset construction tutorial.

The stretchy trim really takes it to another level!
Honestly, I would love to see a video of yours focusing on the math hardship behind making a pattern since that's the most intimidating step in sewing for me. I put off cosplays because I haven't sewn an accessory or a type of a piece of clothing before, and it really burns down my time I have to work on things.

Making something so technical highly entertaining yet still understandable is a big (and I'd say rare) talent! This is why I enjoy your channel so very much!!
You are so incredibly talented and I really appreciate that you take time to share your creations with me. Thank you so much. The neighbourhood cat is becoming a star now too, and I have to admit that I adore seeing him/her (sorry I can’t remember) so cute ❤ 🙂🐿🌈❤️ P.s I also love that the “French curve” is called a parrot or pistol curve in France. Years ago I was talking with my elderly Italian neighbour. She had lots of Impatiens, or Busy Lizzy plants with flower colours that I didn’t have, and so she was kindly gathering some cuttings for me. Her English was about as good as my Italian and so when her son arrived home she asked him to translate. she asked me what I was calling the plant (the Impatiens) and I said that I called them Busy Lizzys. She laughed and said that she had always called them Busy Marias. I just love this memory ❤ Also - the cat understands French better than I do 😳 How cool is that. A cool cat 😎 🐈

I am sure math will not be scary in your hands, so YES to tutorial, even if I would never got the courage to do corset, I really want and yours turned out beautiful 😍🤩
A full corset tutorial would be god sent
Definitely wouldn't mind a walk through of the math required for a corset. & bravo for doing all that without a pattern! It's definitely a pleasure to watch & help support your channel!!!!
She's a genius, her vision is iconic. Using hair as fringe is an awesome idea!! It has a beautiful lustre, looks expensive and way more unique than traditional fringe trim. I also love undertones in the hair versus the stark cold black of the fringe alone. Genuinely a fantastic concept and it doesn't look creepy or crafty but quite ethereal and delicate.

On seeing that I couldn't help imagining a whole darn ballroom-dancing gown or flapper dress embellished with hair fringe!! 😆 Ariel is always #1 when it comes to unusual but effective solutions - and projects in general...
It blows my mind how the shine of the hair helps add depth to the damaged fringe where it fills in the gaps! It actually makes the damaged fringe look full and that was a stroke of genius. Such an out-of-the-box idea that really paid off!

That is one of the things most unique about Ariel's creations & content, I feel? 😄 Her speciality seems to be thinking waaaay outside the box and coming up with creative projects & solutions that often make one go "wth?" at first, but which always turn out stunningly!!
I binge watched all your videos the past couple of days and you motivated me to work on my own costumes again, so thank you so much for that! A lot of weird stuff has happened lately and my life turned upside down... i kind of stopped enjoying anything, worried too much and was constantly stressed... until KZread recommended your WCS videos to me. From that point on, I remembered how much fun I had while making cosplays and crafting in general, and decided to give it a try! Well, I found something to look forward to again 😊 Since I have no clue about sewing at all, (I'm completely "self-taught" if you can even call it that) I am super happy to not only be entertained by your fabulous personality, but also learn something!! Merci, Ariel! ❤

The red lighting on the reveal was such a nice touch! Amazing job!
I love that the neighbourhood cat is a part of the channel now! Gorgeous corset, I can't wait to see whole cosplay when it's finished! The hair was such a good idea!
I just discovered this channel a week ago or so and I just binge watched all the videos. I love them all so much, but now I don't know what to do without watching new videos from Ariel 😢
I was very dubious about the hair until the vary end when it was trimmed up, it ends up giving a sort of raven's feather quality to it when properly bulking up the underside of the fringe. very much a "trust the process" situation lol. LOVE IT!!!
I would love to see a corset pattern drafting video!!!
I've been sewing most of my life, but haven't attempted corsetry yet. It's on my list of things to try out. I love the back support I get from wearing stays when I wear historical clothes and want to incorporate that into more modern dresses
I need pattern making video please. I've watched so many and it still doesn't compute with my brain. I love this coreset! I need to make one for a cosplay I want to do.

I'll try to make an entertaining one someday!
As a burlesque performer it is so cool to see you using the old wigs for decoration! That is so innovative and inspires so many possibilities for embellishment and a great alternative to feathers! And as a costumer I loved seeing the surgery of the cups! I’ve never made an over bust corset before and this helps make it less intimidating!
Omg!! Yes!! Corset math please!!!
How can you resist that cute floof demanding attention? 😻 The corset turned out amazing! 👀
I get Moulin Rouge vibes with this corset. *chef's kiss*
Sexy outfit + hair? It's giving Bayonetta. Love the video and really admire your mental fortitude for actually going with the surgery - it's very easy to get frustraded and just give up. Also, the extra on the hips from the mockup can just be padded for and extra intense sillhouette!

Yes please, for the corset math video 😅 also I think using the wig hair is an awesome idea! 💖 the end result is so stunning!
Thanks for showing your fit issues AND how you adjusted for it, both in the mockup and the final. I've had that gaping problem before and never knew how to fix it! 🎉
Bravo! Your sheer joy at the reveal was delightful!

I love watching people make corsets! and this one turned out so well! Also, cat = best camera tech
Adding my yes vote to a detailed corset math video if you are willing. :) Also, the mental picture of "a boob running away" was so funny to me.
Love your videos SO much. My only request would be to have a longer reveal. I always feel like I didn’t get to see the finished garment enough - just some close ups or you standing still, doesn’t have to be flashy I just like to see the completed item closely/well. Anyway your videos are already perfect it would just be adding a cherry on top 😆 ❤ The corset is absolutely STUNNING - it’s sooo beautiful 😻 love love love ❤️

Amazing! Yes please, corset patterning video!
Cats gotta cat! Its stunning and I adore your reveals. The skirt is gorgeous too!
I would absolutely be interested in an entire video which was just the maths of corsetry. Please make one.
It looks so good! I think it’s a great idea to do a video getting into the math of patterning, making it seem less scary would be amazing!
I knew you where talented but this video just shows it even further! And not to mention how frikkin GORGEOUS this came out! I am floored!
The end result is truly stunning
I don't know what you're making this corset for but it's so beautiful it gives me Moulin Rouge vibes ❤
This is so good!! And i think that the elastic across the top was a great idea. It looks super comfortable!
One minute into the video and from the thumbnail, I would guess the black dress for sailor moon. Love the cat bombing. And one day; I will make a corset and a petticoat that scare the life out of me. Cant wait ti see the final product.
I am really wanting to create a corset in order to create a specific dress that has been on my mind for ages, so I would LOVE to see the entire process of how to make the patern and so 🥰
The fluffy intruder is cute, we need more of his snoot in videos!
I'd love a video on the math and making of the pattern ❤
Incredible! I always learn so much from your vids, like the notching tip that allowed you to fit the longer cup fabric to the shorter torso fabric. Fab!
At first I thought the hair was feathers but this is a much more exciting choice!!! It's so exciting to see how pretty this looks and how much fuller the fringe looks! a possible tip to save for interesting texture in the future!!
Uuuh the hair+fringe thing is so cool, i am not familiar with the characters you cosplay, so I really loved where the hair was still longer than the fringe, gave a bit creepy/horror feel to it 👀
Beautiful and such a statement piece whether for cosplay or even under a long velvet jacket with skirt to wear to a gala. I had doubts about the hair, but it does enhance the fringe. I never would have even noticed its existence had I not seen the step by step. I love fashion that has its own mythos and charm. ❤
Love the details and corset pattern of course 🥹✨❤️
Yes do a video about the pattern! I would love that!
I love everything about this corset and now I'm jealous and want one myself because that is actually right up my alley. I'd wear it as day to day clothing, I wouldn't even need a proper reason because ✨fashion ✨is reason enough!
that corset is vavaVoom! amazing skill!
hahaha your initial side view before surgery was giving some Jessica Rabbit vibes! I love all the lace and beading on the corset, awesome and sexy!
Thank you for the video. I would love to see a video on how you came up with your corset measurements. The hair was an interesting choice but looks great in the end so I trust you. (I think) Love your work. ❤

Long time fan. I love your personality and videos. As a cat person I hate to tell you this, but that cat has claimed you! As I understand cat please let me translate. Cat says: Bonjour! Hey here I am. Pet me please! I came to see you. More pets! Oh by the way, can you feed me? No one’s feed me in ages.
What a vamp you are!! ☺️❤
I would love to see the math that goes into the corset making. Thank you for posting all the bad with the good in your construction process.
Wonderful and so much fun to watch❤🎉😊

Its amazing! The level of craftsmanship and detail that went into this is just awe inspiring and it turned out so beautiful!
I love your videos. I just got a book on how to make five or six different historical corsets and I want to get going on the bodice block. I haven’t made one in over a decade. The universe is telling me it’s time.
