Introducing the “Vehicle Accident Detection with Black Box System,” a DIY project built using Arduino Mega! This project provides real-time car parameters, accident alerts, and data logging for post-accident analysis.
Components used in this project:
1. Arduino Mega
2. Sensors (vibration, accel, temp.)
3. 16X2 LCD display
4. GPS and GSM modules
5. DC motors
6. L298N motor driver
7. SD card module(SD card not included)
8. Potentiometer
9. 4 x 3.7V Lithium-ion
Features of this vehicle accident alert system:
Real-time monitoring: Displays x,y, and z orientation of the car, temperature, and vibrations on an LCD screen.
Accident detection: Alerts you via SMS with the accident location and logs data to an SD card.
Black box system: Securely stores accident data for later analysis. Parameters are- X,Y,Z coordinates, the speed of the car, vibrations, exact location, and temperature at the time of the accident.
Expandable: Add more sensors like gas and fire detection for enhanced functionality.
