What do we mean by real? The character runs around in it so it does ''physically'' exist. Perhaps they just haven't implemented that area into the rest of the map yet. Surely they develop all the areas separately and then copy-paste the finished product into the actual world map.

It isn't based on the amount of time. It is based on what they are actually doing. They have given us consistent monthly updates on what they have been doing to make the game for years. If there was insignificant progress for long amounts of time while taking a lot of money, then it would be an endless fundraiser. But their progress isn't insignificant.

That was a cheap loss of a beard. They just are not going to have a test system "Lying around" on which to do "Fake" deserts. And the mini-map missing when the whole i/f isn't there?!! You can't like your beard much when you let it go that easily! Are you making your copium with a little to much of the strong anti-anxiety medicine in there these days? I know I am! When I was a younger man, I had way better than 20/20 vision, and anything less than 60fps nauseated me, Id say that was the upper limit for speed, but any version we see now, is going to be running debug code, pre-optimization, so if it runs over 30fp3 it will probably be well over 60fps come game-time.

Ashes of Creation doesn't exist.. But if believing in Santa Claus helps people find hope, I guess theres no harm in that.

These comments get made because they're easy to make. You have nothing to lose here. If you're right, you can say you were right. If you're wrong, you get to play an amazing MMO like everyone else. I wish I could make a list of all these comments, and when the game releases spam them day after day about how much of a pessimistic killjoy they've been, and how their negativity might almost have killed this amazing thing just because they've been burned in the past, and the development pace has delays, just like the development of most great things does.
