I’m trying to turn away from my sins but MAN, it’s not so easy.. keep finding myself back in the same old hole sometimes deeper. Hopefully the Savior can lift me fully out of it for good one day. 🙏🏼

joshua, You are an amazing child of God. we are all human. repentance is usually a process, not just a one time thing. having a plan as to what to do when tempted can help, having good friends who will keep you accountable also helps, and having replacement behavior to replace our bad habits will help. You got this. ❤

I'm there. currently dealing with the same feeling, so I get'cha. Sometimes all it takes is just to pay a little more attention to details in our daily life to see how He talk to us. The simple fact that I'm here writing this to you, while listening to the MTC could be a clear testimony, as everytime I find myself listening to hymns or coming back for a LDS message it's because his holy spirit brought me to this.

That same hole you are digging is the same hole Jesus is up there pushing the dirt back into. He's helping you whether you know it or not. As long as you have the desire to repent anywhere in your heart, He will take it and help you grow from it. Believe in Him and that He is your Savior. He doesn't ask for more than for you to believe in Him and follow His example the best you can. You can do it!

I'm from Germany as well

So peaceful and soothing to my soul. The Tabernacle Choir got me through the most terrifying days of my life. Their songs were the only songs or music I could listen to for the longest time. I will be eternally grateful.

3:23 I love that interlude with the Orchestra. I stand for kindness with everyone.

They sing like angels,we are so blessed to have such music during these tough times, it soothes the soul indeed.

Jesus brought himself. Religions were created by mankind. Jesus, The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. Love incarnate. Love to each & everyone of you.

Even the Church he set up before his laid down his life for us. What matters most is our discipleship. Fighting about that is never and was never the point. This song conveys our simple and exquisite responsibility.

This is what Latter Days Saints believe.

The power yet the tenderness and loving kindness in their voices further more testifies of the love of our savior and redeemer Jesus Christ! Thank you for the restored gospel dear lord!

In quiet moments like this the voice of God can be heard above the madness and quarreling of normal life. Thank you Mormon Tabernacle Choir for being our channel to the quiet moments that fill the heart with hope and joy. Our Lord still says "Fear not; I have overcome the world." He is coming soon"

I lovw this hymn so much and I am graceful to have known it, i loved listening it during my mission in zimbabwe 2017-209. Thankful to be a member of the church of Jesus christ of latter-day saints.

Beautiful! The words of the chorus can be on a piece of paper next to a mirror, reading them when starting the day or before going out of the house. 🙏

I still don't know how they can sing something so powerful and beautiful without crying. I can't sing it out loud, I cry everytime. ❤

I still remember the great times my twin brother and I had playing on the temple grounds and listening to the choir practice in the Tabernacle. We had the privilege of singing in the Tabernacle in 1947 as part of the Centennial chorus... singing the songs of the restoration such as ...."oh how lovely was the morning" which was all about Joseph Smith's First Vision. That was the beginning of our testimonies of the truth of the Gospel in our day. Mike Scott

I am grateful for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and all those who are in leadership positions male and female. And if we did not have this beautiful music and the Tabernacle Choir I don't think our church would be complete. We all owe it all to Our Father in heaven and his son Jesus. Christ!

Not always a big fan of American choirs but MTC are outstanding. Orchestration and orchestra superb. Singing is absolutely top quality. Crisp and clear, in-tune with lots of texture. Can't help but get chills. This is beautiful. Total perfection.

you need to hear them in person. In one of their Southern tours, they started an A Capella - in the moment. Unbelievable.

So beautiful, you can listen to it all day.

So we need to be Stern and steady when we stand on the rock of Jesus Christ platform. Not move, and that moving anyway. They can scream and holler all they want and Nash their teeth all they want to. Also you have some that just don't like that type of music so be it.

In my case, I'm not ascribed to any religious ideas. However, I do enjoy listening to Sacred classical music, Baptist Gospel songs, and these spectacular melodies performed by the Tabernacle Choir. Quality music is a great aesthetic experience, regardless our beliefs. Best regards from Bogota, Colombia!
