I see the guy from Boston that's in the video at the local ponds around here 4 or 5 times a year. Really good guy. He told me the story about running into you a week after the tournament. It was the highlight of his weekend! Made me jealous as hell! Haha. Going to try to make it up there next year!

I wish they made low profile baitcasters that had high drag and lots of line pickup per crank for saltwater.... lexa has high drag but low gears. Calcutta conquest md has good line pickup and decent drag pressure but is a round reel and gets tiring hucking big plugs

G try braid to a leader on the jerky bait. For the brown ones I had the same problem on dale hollow. Definitely makes a difference

I have one on my office chair. Ironically they don't seem to have a specific name. Search cut out seat cushion.

Gotta get some bfs reels and rods. My buddy got one recently and he's flinging tiny baits around better than I am with my spinning reels. I'm putting one on Santa's list.

I agree I know exactly what you mean , those reel spools in the BFS with all the holes make a huge difference with light baits , I have a shimano aldeberan BFS and it cast light baits so far with no problems like a flick of the wrist

I'm a bank fisherman and ❤bfs.the only time I use spinning rod is for throwing dropshot rig

I got a phenix k2 that is like 1/32 to 1/4 oz paired with a daiwa alphas air and 8lb braid and can send small trout lures and ned rigs like I'm casting a 10ft surf rod

They worried about ffs but I don’t watch egg beaters and smallmouth cause I ain’t gunna

Really why? You can still buy an Aqua Vu underwater camera… an F’n camera! Better get with the times FFS is here to stay. Sadly you’ll be watching 20 something’s staring at screens all day busting 30 pound limits all day err day. Not really

It'll never be banned unless state gaming authorities ban it. For the anglers and tournament trails it's too lucrative. Who's the main sponsors of b.a.s.s. and mlf and npfl LOWRANCE,GARMIN,HUMMINBIRD. To much money involved in a ever shrinking sponsor field.

Everybody wants to ban ffs but I ain't heard one person besides me say anything about using floggers during a tournament and actually looking at the fish with a flogger in one hand and fishing for them with a rod in the other

13 has a trash warranty and they do have good blanks but they don’t put them together very well.

I second that! Right now I currently run the Fate Green medium fast with the tx reel. 12 -15 braid. It’s more than a bfs but lower than a power shot. I can cast a 1/4 ounce ned a mile

@cody Their warranty is not trash. I’ve used it multiple times. I even keep a guy on speed dial just in case. Their oops warranty is amazing
