I used it on a demo device yesterday and i loved it , it feels really sturdy, crease is hardly visible, im a fold 4 user , after using oneplus open for 5 mins , i feel my fold 4 is an old generation phone, even the brightness is really high

@@deltaechomusicnh555 it was always an old generation phone even when I got it three months after it came out, I was not impressed at all. It was the worst device I have ever used in my life and I’m upgrading to the OnePlus Samsung makes horrible products except for their candy bar phones everything else is awful. I have used every Samsung product. The only good products they make are their TVs and their candy bar phones. Everything else is just money grab low quality junk.

I am still reluctant on that durability part by 1+, as been reported by mkbhd, dead pixels on his unit in just 2-3 weeks of use.

I will surely go for a foldable.. Oneplus open is more feature packed compare to iphone. I'd never like limitations when I am spending above a lakh on a phone and iphone comes with a tons of it. Except of few customization and camera options which are available on iphone like dept effect on lock-screen and smart camera detection and all, I guess there is not much reasons of buying an iphone. I'd rather go for Samsung, they are getting close to bringing the dept effects on their phones, also there are tons of customization options as well. But over all Oneplus Open is just crazy, so if I really have to pick one among iphone and open, I'll definitely go for Oneplus Open.

Comments are bad here but need not be. He may be so excited in one plus open and really it's a perfect fold ever. I am not switching immediately from S23 as my pocket doesn't support but in future it's a good option for me.

First, folding phones should be compared to folding phones, still there were dead pixels observed by MKBHD, if we keep the outer screen aside, Samsungs fold phones feels more superior ofc because it is in its 5th gen, I personally have not faced any issues with IOS 17 till now on my 15, what so ever Still the chip on iPhone will be more efficient, apple will launch vision pro next year which I think will be the next phone replacer may be, so would it be fair comparing that to this?

Have you seen pixels turning off on MKBHD's unit? Also, Michael Fisher showed that the camera lenses were getting condensation in the units of many media personnels at the launch.

@@deltaechomusicnh555 Ohh, I am saying from experience buddy. I have used a OnePlus 1, OnePlus 2; owned a OnePlus 3T, right now I'm using a OnePlus 8 Pro. Every single thing 'quality' has been butchered by them since the 8 Pro when Carl left they announced OOS's merger with ColorOS. Everything, be it software or hardware. The issue occurring on MKBHD's unit of all says a lot about how much they care!

Everyone is giving comparisons of OnePlus Open with 15 Pro Max. No one is doing it with 15 Pro which should be the obvious choice given the form factor as both the devices are of comparable sizes and the processor of 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max is the same. That should be much more of an ideal comparison I think.
