If I had to guess, the spade was added to the general store in lumbridge when x marks the spot was added to the game. That would make sense, anyway.

yes but when i've started my account, i followed one of his noob guide video to make a low level gmauler pker, he does all the quests you need to train fast so i jumped through the low level brackets very fast.

Lumbridge General Store has always sold spades. If you go to the wiki you can check the edits as far back as 2015, where spades are included.

The scamming himself with bagged roses is peak. Fiction reflects life sometimes.

Settled also discovered the general store in Lumby sold knives in Ep 3 of Tileman. That's hilarious that you both are rediscovering things in OSRS

You framed this as "new players can do raids much faster than they think" but most of this is stuff that a new player wouldnt know, it requires a lot of game knowledge that a new player simply cant be expected to know

I've been a guy who's felt gated by the time required. And here's framed telling me I can do it. Alright here we go.

When X Marks The Spot came out they added it I even think they had spade spawning once outside first dig spot but removed it. Spades are actually pretty cheap in that store I buy them to sell them on new accounts.

i think you'll be able to do it much faster than most players but thats also because youre experience. if they were truly new players it would take them a lot lot longer especially to complete the raid
