I love Ustad alfasay due to following reasons, 1 love him for the sake of Allah. 2- clear tajweed, soothing voice 3 controlled vocals, hight pitch and low pitch. 3 Variation in each word and verse. 4 Variation in pitch according to the meaning. 5 Periodic rythm. 6 Hits the heart and pleases the soul. The most versatile reciter.

Alafasy has a very beautiful and rare voice and melody in his recitation. He has got it all, - Tajweed is perfect - beautiful soothing Voice - beautiful Melody I remember when first time I heard his recitation, wallahi My Soul felt it. I heard nothing like that before. I stopped listening to musical songs. Alhamdulillah for having these beautiful reciters around us. I also like Raa’d al Kurdi, his voice and the melody he creates is just amazingly beautiful Subhan’Allah.

i agree mate, initially i don't like him as much because i view him as basic. but as i learn to appreciate other reciters more, i listen back to him and i realise that the best way to describe alafasy is consistency and middle ground in everything, and that is why his my favourite now

I agree..he is my favorite. Its easy to memorize chapters of the Holy Quran by listening to his recitation of the Holy Quran esp for non Arabic speakers like me. Jazak Allahu khair Alafasy .

There's this brilliant young reciter who you'd think is related to Sheikh Alafasy because of his voice, but it's also uniquely beautiful. Hafiz Hamzah Fahzy.

What I was attracted to in Alafasy's recitation of Quran was the tajweed. like you can listen to every word sooooo clearly and that's really amazing, MAA SHAA Allah. I learnt a lot from him. May Allah reward him.

whoever recites the holy Qur'an, all praises only to Allah.

MashaAllah, brother Alafasy is the best receiver for me. I have learned to memorise many Quranic verses from him. He has a unique voice at the right speed for anyone who wants to learn to memorise Quranic verses to some level. One still has to read through the Quran to make sure one recites it correctly. Alhamdulillah 🤲🌹🌹🌹

Sheikh Al-Afasy his recitation is beautiful But my favourite is Sheikh Faisal and the favourite surah Al Mulk Just listen to Sheikh Faisal surah Al Mulk recitation InshAllah you will understand what I mean

I heavily rely on two reciters for my hifdh - Hussary for clarity and Alafasy for tune. Tune is very helpful to me and I struggle to find other reciters who employ tune / melodious recitation.

@Hafiz Musawer thank you for the tips. I am actually 26, hoping to memorize before I reach thirties, inshallah. Let's see how it goes. I am mostly relying on digital resources. Using the audio as I read, going ayah by ayah Ottoman-style. In the earliest stages though. I am also hoping to save up for a tablet with stylus someday because I want to "dissect" my studies even further, go deeper. I need to write as I memorize but don't want to do it on paper because it's holy speech - therefore need digital. Inshallah.

It is hard for me to recite with power. Second question, is there any two for females to start and the voice not get so narrow and sound powerfull?

Start by getting your basic sounds better and clearer, then recite slowly but with intent to raise your voice. Follow some reciters that recite fast and loud like Sheriff Mostafa. Even if you’re a female you can still recite with power in sha Allah
