Gotta say I am loving Bronze League Heroes, Grubby. Easily some of my favorite content to come out of youtube recently. I initially found your videos through being recommended a tierlist on your grubby talks channel, then checked out the main channel and saw BLH and watched them all. Just wanna say I really enjoy the series!

I don't even play warcraft 3 but this is amazing honestly it reminds me of when I used to play Blood Bowl online in a small league and we used to spectate and cast each other's games (;

The Grubby Bronze League Bingo card: -" Not a full wall" - Fast tech to T2 - Expand into T3 - "Wind Raiders" - "Eat the tree!" - Died with TP scroll - "Pass the HP pot!" - Overpopulation - 3rd armor upg - 3rd attack upg - Teched up to a structure but built no units out of it for ages - "Bloodlust Tauren!" - Too many windwalks - Hero focus - "I can see the reasoning" - Webbing/Ensnaring the wrong unit - Hero dies with Invuln pot - Long distance lumber gathering - Unit got stuck because of base layout - Almost a surround - "Pointless" tech or upgrade vs the opposing race - Hero picks a skill that doesn't use mana lvl 1 - Death coiling the wrong unit - Fully upgrading units before making any - Hiding structures to avoid a loss/refusing to give up

written up really well, couldn't have done it better myself. Grubby gotta do a bingo card or checklist with this so it gets the new 101 things to avoid for bronze league champions. The new standard handbook of things to avoid kinda.

Yoo grub heres a challenge! In the challenge the main thing is that when you make an hero. you can only make units that are the heroes race, for example: if you go MK. the only units you can make {besides peasants} are, riflemen, flying machines, gryphones and mortar teams, id really like to see you do this challenge..

This series is my favorite and first time I caught it fresh and early!

I used to play WC3 all the time and I’ve been watching you for about a year now. I want to get back in but I remember how much anxiety I get during matches. How do I combat this anxiety every time I play? I remember I was even around gold level back in the day but it’s hard for me to play more than 1 game until I calm down.

I should mention I was plat in SC2 1v1 too but it all felt so hard to play because of this anxiety.

You're not alone, dude. "Just have fun" is easier said than done, I feel you. For me it took development in different aspects of my life to dare challenge this old fear. I'm still challenging it. Maybe, the following helps you, too: Try and change your mindset with which you approach the next game. It's not that you needn't be afraid. I still am. But try to accept that losing is a possibility. And/but (as opposed to earlier in your life) it's not a shame. You cannot expect from yourself being perfect / playing perfectly. Because you re not. You are not a master of this game. I am no master, too. And you can only get better/grow with something when you accept that you make mistakes. There's no improvement without mistakes, because there's nothing you can improve upon. So losing is not a sign of you being a failure. It just tells you that there's room for improvement. And if you dare to look closely (which is what Grubby does without getting into his emotions (=anxiety), so he can learn from his mistakes), a lost match even tells you where you can improve. As I said, this is way easier said than done. I'm struggeling with it myself. But I have risen beyond that point where I accept my anxiety holding me hostage and keeping me from playing/enjoying this great game. 20 years of imprisonment. Grubby used that time to become the great player he is today. Nobody can give us that time back, remember that. Dare to challenge yourself. It'll be hard, but worth it. And if you're lucky, it generalizes way beyond only WCIII, upon your personality/other areas of your life. Cheers.

doesn't defend mean your footies creep faster? 30% attacks returned is POTENTIALLY more than 10% dps increase but not really

Gryphons with briliance, priests and Pala are so strong, they destroy fiends. Without Pala, they are weaker because no instant healing and no devotion. Human was 100% going to win.

If you face some crazy nuke combo like banish into holy light and stormbolt, then you will need anti magic shell from banshees.

I believe Grubby usually does a quick expansion as Undead vs. paladin rifle. Paladin rifle has a slow start, so they generally can't punish your greediness early, and then the extra money from the expansion should let you overcome the efficiency of their army. The main thing you need to be prepared for then is for them to do a big attack at T2 with lvl 3 paladin, rifles and bloodmage. If you hold that push, you'll be in good shape
