I'm Shocked! I still like these Harley Davidson Boots after 6 Months!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I'm Shocked! I really like these Harley Davidson Hagerman Boots after 6 months! I rarely buy @harleydavidson branded riding gear, I have worn @DrMartensOfficial for more than 30 years and continue to do so, but these new Hagerman boots are incredibly comfortable, and for what I put boots through, they are aging really well. I thought it would be good to show trying something different and being surprised. They would go great with PROFESSIONAL MONKEY STURGIS GEAR! Ha, shameless plug:

I’ve had dozens of pairs of HD boots. Always hated the weight of them and the soles are not grippy enough for me. Always take them off the first opportunity I get. I fell for the hype and bought some Indie Ridge boots a couple of months ago and absolutely love them. They are so damn comfortable, grippy and waterproof. Love them. Give them a try and let us know what you think. Have Mrs Monkey try some as well. Haven’t seen many female opinions on them yet.

I’ve tried them, and the people are great, but they just don’t work for me. They were so stiff and just wouldn’t break in. Maybe it’s the version I had.

I loved the irony of how you pointed to the Bar and Shield on the boot with your right hand, saying how you don't like it, yet there is a Bar and Shield tattoo on your right forearm. Joking aside, I do enjoy your videos.

I wore Wolverines for many years on the bike, but they wore out and my local HD dealer had boots in stock. I wore them around the dealership for a half hour, and was 100% sold on them. 3 years later, I still love 'em! They've got about 20k miles on 'em and they're still looking good and wearing well.

I have a pair Harley Davidson denway round toe 5” boots in black and they have been best riding boots. I wear them in all conditions they have held up super well and are very comfortable for me with custom insoles. I also wear Harley Davidson altmans pull ons for everyday use in brown for two years. Super comfortable with custom insole and they have held up well on ranch, around town, hunting etc. I do keep them both conditioned and treated. Both pair are waterproof and surprisingly durable and comfortable. Great content

I'm the same on sticking with what you are into. Gotta feel for the Mrs sometimes when she's searching to find like for like to replace older stuff that I don't want to find a new style/etc. Had a pair of Harley Davidson Bateman's sneaker like boots I loved with ankle protection & the new ones are a different style. Just found some at HOH now that they needed replaced in the same style and I was excited that my same new boots were available for purchase to the point that I think the apparel ladies were a bit scared 😀

For the 1st time in my riding life I decided to go with a riding sneaker, and I love it. Comfy on and off the bike. Look good. Ankle support is there. Side zipper is there. Yes, toe patch on both sides. Never thought about it but I guess it is pointless on the right. Borleni is the brand. Italian but made in China of course. Have held up for a year and still riding them. I like.

Been wearing the same boots for a year now, got lucky a found them on sale at like $120 or something... Good fit, have lasted and worn well. Found the sole will turn whatever color was the last thing you stepped in, and has thinned out a bit. Same dislikes as you, worried about zipper (no problems yet), hate the HD logos which initially kept me from purchasing but I only see them when I put them on. Dixon shirts rock, the bamboo long sleeves even work here in Texas....

I’ve had 2 pair of them brown and black, love them. The only complaint is sole on black top is slippery and especially if you add rain and stop at a red light or stop sign, not much grip on the bottom of the sole. White sole needs to be black because they turn dingy yellow in a short time. Super comfy and look great other than those 2 small complaints.

My riding boots are Double H Barry harness boots, I like the taller heel because I'm somewhat vertically challenged. I have many wet rides in them but I spray them with a water repellent every spring and have never had wet feet. I also have a cheaper knock off of the same boot as a backup. For work, Ariat pull on wellington style and recently a pair of Irish Setter work boots. The Irish Setters are very comfortable.

I've been told Harley boots were manufactured by Wolverine, and your boots do have a striking resemblance to Wolverines "Loader" 6" Wedge Boot. There are some styling differences, but you can see common features between the boots shared in this video and the Loader boots. If your not into a side zipper boot and are willing to swap a chrome emblem for a discounted price, take a look at what Wolverine offers.

I wear Caroline and thorogood boots I wear the tall ones with the wedge sole which is way those Harley boots are comfortable is because they are meant for concrete which is what you stand on majority of the time. And the thorogood boots come with a waterproof membrane in the boot which would probably be good for especially in when it rains or you could wear a pair of pull on boots as well

I know it’s a cliche answer but I wear Red Wings every day to work, and ride in them too. The HD boots look nice though, thanks for the info!

I got a pair of hot leathers high top Riding sneakers last year in Sturgis, and I actually love them. Almost got the HD pair tho.

I have the same boots in Brown and Black and have had them for a couple of years. My only complaint is that the soles are really slippery. Otherwise they are super comfortable!

The Harley boots with a zipper on the side instead of lacing them up . When a guy has a bigger belly like mine they work great. Less time bent over putting boots on.

I took a chance on some pricey Harley boots, and I love them. They are comfortable, extremely well made, and are standing up well to many miles.
