Hey Brewzle should of got J.Henry when in wisconsin it's made outside of Madison with a rich local story. The farm the grain is grown on used to be a cattle farm that was failing they decided to make Boos and use a special type of corn and special local grains definitely check it out if you can find it.

I noticed you tried a Dry Fly special release bourbon out of Washington state, have you tried Woodinville out of Washington yet? If not, is there a way I can send yall some?
Riley’s Wines employee right here. Thanks for stopping by, there’s already been two people that mentioned your video walking in and one of them just checked out with $1,600 worth of whiskey. Next time you’re in town we’ll give you a proper tasting !

I live here and am quite interested in the fact that you have Springbank 12CS and 18 which I haven't seen anywhere before. Might have to stop in occasionally and see if you have any.😮
I’m the clerk who tendered you out at 11:17 Thanks for stopping by!
Hey Brewzle let’s develop a bourbon app that keeps track of your collection. So when you are out hunting you know what you already have in your collection and it tracks pricing and will show local Liquor stores to get what you are hunting.

That's a really good idea. If I was hunting for something and had a lot at home, I'd want to know what's worth buying because I don't have versus taking a guess and buying the same thing again. 👍👍👍

Wisconsin for the win
Saying hi from Wisconsin! Madison is an absolute party during football games. The whole city is campus on Saturday game days. Jump Around is played in Camp Randall and can be heard and felt around the city.
As a wisconsinite, Woodman’s is amazing. Not too many of them, far as I know. But I see them as a Toys-r-us for booze. Great variety, great prices. I go iut of my way to travel to get my alcohol there.
Brewzle I'm a resident of Wisconsin. On my recent trip to Door County I stopped at the Door Peninsula Winery and Distillery. I picked up a bottle of their test run, maple barrel Bourbon. Only 2000 bottles were made. Fantastic stuff. If you make it back to Wisconsin, head to Door County you won't be disappointed in the area.
I love how friendly you are to strangers!

I lived in madison for a year and it’s cool to see you go to a few of the spots I would regularly stop into. Awesome stuff.
I don’t drink anymore cause my stomach sucks, and I never drank whiskey/bourbon, but I’m digging watching these videos for some reason.
Glad you had a good time in Madison! Love seeing my go to spots back home in this vid.
Rent a trailer for the luggage. More room for whiskey.

Gents if going to do that, rent another van. The whiskey needs to be kept safe on the way back after all.
Finally! So glad that you picked up that Wollersheim bottled in bond. I haven’t had too much Wollersheim, but the bit I did have was really good. Wisconsin is lovely state in the summer!
The Dirty Helen you passed up is good, out of Great Lakes Distillery in Milwaukee. The Dirty Helen Rye is fantastic. You had some good stops in Madison; Woodmans is a great place for price and overall selection.
I can’t wait to see what else he picks up along these trips
Good call grabbing that Wolcott Rickhouse and leaving the First Call at the store. That Wolcott is a great buy at $43
Great to see you roll through Madison! Next time if you have a bit in town (perhaps the Bama Wisconsin game next season) you need to check out Cask and Ale, a bar on State Street! It's a bar that has pretty much every bottle and allocated at fair prices for pours! Also Steve's Wine and Liquor sometimes has some good things
the wolcott rickhouse reserve is distilled by the same people who make 1792, the rickhouse reserve is a close 2nd to wild turkey rare breed for me, one of my favorites that i have tried, and i love the high proof stuff
You definitely need to try Driftless Glen, their bourbon and rye are phenomenal
Brewzle……..just wanna say that this extended hunt has been great to watch 👍👍.
Im a college student who only lets himself get 1 30-60 dollar bottle every couple of months and I really appreciate being able to live my bourbon dreams through you!
You hit the nail on the head - Madison in the fall is hard to beat. You’d love it!
Very cool that you visited the Madison area. I live just to the West of Madison and it’s where I do most of my shopping. I was hoping you wouldn’t reveal Riley’s to the inter web. It’s definitely the best store in the area and already too much competition for the allocated raffles 😂. However, I didn’t realize Woodmans had that good of a selection so I did learn something about my own backyard and will have to pay them a visit. Great video! Keep up the good work!
I'm German, from Munich and I love your videos. They make me so curious about travelling the US. 🙂

I'll start by saying that, although I don't personally know this man, he and his family are quite indicative of the majority of people you will meet over here in the US, especially in the South, with Brewzle being an Alabama boy(Tennessee here, BTW). Despite what Hollywood and the sensationalist media would have everyone believe, we're not a population full of dangerous thugs intent upon nefarious mayhem on unsuspecting strangers, quite the opposite actually. The fact is, headlines that read "Millions Survive Night In U.S." wouldn't sell too many papers, and so all anyone ever hears about are the crazies. Good people are good people, the world over, and our wants and needs are strikingly similar, regardless of nationality. We ALL want the very best that we can manage for our families, friends, and selves. That's universal, is it not? So, if you get the chance to visit us, by all means, do so. Sit down with an individual such as Brewzle or myself and bond over a well blended mash bill, and I can almost guarantee that you will rise from that empty glass with a new friend. THAT, my friend is the REAL "proof".

@@runningaway2388 For example Elsburn, St. Kilian and Slyrs are pretty good German Whisky Companies.
The Michters Toasted Barrel Finish Straight Rye is unreal. We went on the Michter's tour in Louisville last weekend and that was easily the best pour we had.
madison is awesome.. especially during the fall and winter when it's snowing and football games are happening! the atmosphere is just insane
Woodmans is a Wisconsin based retailer with like 15 stores in WI and IL. They have a very large liquor selection for a grocery store chain. They get some rare stuff in.
Just found your channel yesterday and started binging. Love the hunts and all the info for someone who is a neophyte to bourbon like me. Thanks again for the content!
Another great video, TJ! Man, Wisconsin is lucky. You can't even buy anything in Texas until 10AM, on a Sunday, and even then, you can't get anything over 17% ABV. Plus our grocery stores certainly don't have liquor aisles or sections. Anyway, great pics and discipline in this video. I wanna find a Buffalo Trace store pick now. Have a good weekend, and thanks for the great content!
I noticed the JD Single Barrel Rye in one store for $52 and $40 in another! It's crazy how prices vary greatly from store to store. Something to know thanks to Brewzle. Keep em comin'! Bourbon hunting is similar to the stock market. It's all about when you get in at the lows or if you get screwed over at the highs. The fluctuations on bourbon is insane!
Used to live in Madison and can confirm it's a very good time on game days. It's a beautiful city with great people
I don’t even drink but I love watching your videos!! Love hearing your opinions on the spirits!!
If you do come down for a week or a month to Madison WI tell everyone, everywhere, you will have all the locals helping you and you will party and you will see the liveliness of Madison. Madison always welcomes you and so does Wisconsin in general. I'd also love to learn from you lmao
I watch your bourbon hunting and reviews and all your content while I work. Keep up the good content good sir!
I hardly EVER drink whiskey or bourbon, but your channel is pretty much all I've been watching the last few days.
Perfect timing.......I just bought the Wolcott Rickhouse Reserve $42 yesterday! Gal at Total Wine said its Friday and let me try 6 different bourbons, pulled them from under the makeshift bar and served them up. She sold me on the Clyde Mays single barrel as well on sale for $40.
Love the hunting videos! You should buy a bourbon hunting van! Like a Solis or something like that. Save the money on not having to rent hotel rooms plus plenty of room for bourbon storage under the bed / back area! Just a thought! Keep it up! :)
Brewzle is a BEAST im enjoying your voyage. TJ gotta funny straightforward personality
I can't believe you came to Madison! I just went bourbon hunting the day before you arrived and I wish I was able to see you! Also Total Wine and spirits is one of the best liquor stores in Madison but I truly love Harley's liquor and bait it's small cheap and has great options
As a bourbon enthusiast that lives in the Milwaukee area….dead zone. We get the scraps from Chicago and Madison, and then it’s usually marked up or put into a raffle (buy a bottle get a ticket). God speed @Brewzle. Would love to have our area stores look like some of the ones you show, oh well, knob creek and wild T it is then.

Try Consumer Beverage in Hales Corners. Great prices and they have allocated bottles. Not Weller or Buffalo Trace or Eagle Rare but they have a GREAT variety and crazy low prices. Store picks also
Oooooh! You fool, I'm in tears. You walked away from Springbank! This is the most sought after Single Malt out there. It's almost impossible to get even here in Europe because of such small volume of production. Every thing they produce is sold out instantly! You can easily tripple the price of those bottles on the second hand marked.
Badger here, football game days are the best. Riley's was my go-to during college so glad to see you made it there.
Brewzle can simply connect with anyone when talking bourbon. That sassy boy at "Total Wine" didn't even phase the man. He was just talking whiskey! I love that stuff man. You don't need to try Japanese whiskeys. They aren't that unique. They are lesser versions of Irish whiskeys and Scotch. You just won't like them, and you will over pay for them.
Woodmans store is a Wisconsin-based place owned by the employees, so you supposedly get better service and the prices are supposed to be pretty competitive kind of a Warehouse place, Costco-ish if that helps. Love your channel.
@rickcomm5857

They also have stores in Illinois.
If you ever do come back to Madison, try O’Connell’s Liquor in Fitchburg. Great family-run place filled with knowledgeable people and a great selection of whiskey (and an even better one if you’re nice to the right people)
From Montana and that 45th Parallel has some really good stuff, had 8 different types from then and have been very happy with them
I know that the First Call is a total wine exclusive, we have it here in Florida, and I don't know much but I do really like the Break Maiden and Cask Strengths. The base regular version is fine too. I would recommend picking up the cask strength more though.
The Wolcott is Total Wine's brand. They collaborate with distilleries to create them.
Even for non drinkers you provide a great service for people who think USA looks like NYC or Hollywood.❤ Me I drink like a fish.
Yooo I just found this channel a couple days ago and can’t get enough! Love the content! Cheers 🥃
Woodmans was my go to for Nov drops. They always have Taylor on the shelves, including the rye.. $45/per, $60 for the rye. November and December are very productive, like everywhere else. The trick is finding a woodmans in smaller towns, they can be total honey holes! You’re going to need a bigger boat…😂
As a Madison WI local born and raised. Yes! absolutely come up to Madison again sometime with more time during football have some fun. J Henry is local, and pretty good same with Dancing Goat which you totally should have picked up.
You’re not going to regret getting that Wolcott. It’s absolutely delicious imo. Wish I would’ve got another bottle of it for a backup
New Richmond is a local Wisconsin distiller. They are doing some good things and I saw you passed it on the shelf at Woodman's.

Used to work there - highly recommend the Red Fife Whiskey!
So I got 3 different Bondstones. The Distiller's Select, barrel proof and the Double oaked. They had a sale if you bought 2 or more so I got them all for about 40 a peice and honestly they weren't bad at all. Maybe a little young but a decent value. However the DO helped with the younger profile and was pretty decent.
Wife and I just moved to Madison a few months back. Haven't been to Riley's yet, but now I definitely have to go there!
Heh, I got a bottle of Dirty Helen. It's from Great Lakes distillery from Milwaukee Wisconsin so for local it's quite good.
Brewzle rockin that new Grand Highlander! I work at one of their manufacturing plants lol thank you for the job security
I like the idea of having a KZread channel (revenue) and the ability to write off the whiskey as expense! Love it.
Love this trip TJ needs a new Suburban. Roof Thule for luggage and can fit a pallet of whiskey in back That Irish Powers Rye is inexpensive and really really good
I haven’t drank in 10 years. But after finding your KZread channel and TikTok I started drinking some bourbon today. Definitely new to me. But it’s something I’m enjoying.
Great video! Was in Total Wine and More last month for 1792 and they were really pushing the Wolcott's the sales guy made it sound like it was their "house brand". The Horse Soldier copper label was incredibly good...but $54 a fifth can't be my everyday sipper.
I know you said you haven't gotten into the japanese whiskies but the hibiki harmony suntory you passed on at the grocery/liquor store is my favorite! Looked like they had it at a good price too
At the end of the trip it would be fun to see a video of the complete haul. I bet you could open a bourbon store by the time your done 😂😂
My brother was part of the unit that formed that Horse Solider stuff, its pretty good. I feel like the price, depending on location, might be to high for what you get. Soft on the nose, decent on the mouth feel, good flavor profile. I only see it getting better. The higher proof stuff is better.
There is a sunshine store in Brandon south dakota with a pretty good selection. Like holiday and jack rye but nothing allocated
I’m Madison area a lot of places give the good bottles to frequent customers. They usually give gold tickets and you can exchange them for good bottles
Woodmans has decent selection and great deals. I have bought several hard to get bottles from their limited availability items.
This was a great video can’t wait to see the rest of your road trip
@Brewzle

Glad you enjoyed it
In Total Wine you should have picked up the McFarlane’s Reserve Select Cask Strength. However you did pick the other bottle I would have recommended. I just had that Wolcott Rickhouse Reserve last night. It was pretty good.
I bought the Bondstone Cask Strength when I was out in Vegas. It was a very good bottle for the price, especially for a cask strength.
Waukesha County Wisconsin here! Love your videos!
Hatch Distillery is a good local distillery from Door County Wisconsin, and they have good stuff. The actual distillery has awesome cocktails as well, if you ever end up in the peninsula
Still and Oak is out of Milwaukee. Haven't tried it yet. I've had 3 bourbons from Northern and Central Wisconsin that all tasted like mildew, mold, or wet basement. Which is what that part of the state smells like most of spring and summer.
Madison and Milwaukee are great in the summer fall for an extended trip/residency
Nice Virtue Spirits hat! Looking forward to getting my hands on one of their bottles
Woodman's has about 20 stores in WI and IL. Not a huge selection but great prices.
The Borders bourbon is great, a friend brought me a bottle to the uk and now I have a bottle of their special reserve.
Woodman’s is notorious for putting out a lot of allocated bottles at random times for mrsp. The only time I was in the store, I was lucky enough to be there while the manager was putting out better bottles and I scooped up a Weller CYPB.
Dancing Goat is fantastic! Their Barrel Strength Rye is phenomenal!!
Definitely missed out on the rossville Union store pick it's so good at Riley's. Woodman's is a Wisconsin Illinois store and that Woodman's you went to has some of the best allocated in the area but you got to be lucky
The Jack Daniels single barrel barrel proof is my favorite JD product.
That Adictivo you saw at 4:54 makes some EXEPTIONALLY good Tequila. For a very nice experience, you'd be looking for a black label that says Extra Anejo Cristalino. Native to Tulum Mexico, its very rare to find in the US.
Get you a cargo tray for your hitch and put your luggage in large totes that you strap down to it! It gives you extra space for whiskey!
Had Horse Solider for my wedding, but have not revisited. I’d recommend trying it elsewhere before committing to it.
I live in Wisconsin, Madison is an awesome place. A ton to do in Madison and the surrounding area.
I do not drink bourbon but somehow these videos are the perfect type of relaxing/therapeutic videos I love having on while I am working. Your voice is as smooth as a Jack Daniels 12 (right? Am i learning the lingo??) 😂

That’s hilarious, I’m doing the exact thing. I don’t drink much alcohol but love his videos while working
You def missed out info the twisted bottle, Adictivo. Finished in tequila casks, I truly enjoy it.
12:26 you should have grabbed that KC rye, those are the older ones. Just for the cool factor lol
OMG ! Springbank's sighted 'in the wild' !!
That Retzer farm from Ledgerock you passed on at Woodmans is pretty tasty!
I just went to my local total wine. They were testing the Woollcott brand and the bottle and bond was fantastic. Picked one up.
I know your trip is over but I hope the space resolved itself with whiskey in everyone's seat.
I think the best bottle I've ever found at a TW that wasn't in lottery was the SW UCUF. I've seen people land great bottles there, but I guess they don't have day jobs and just pitch a tent outside until they open. Seems like they'd rather sell the Wolcott, Bondstone, Bib and Tucker and Chestnut Farms than anything else
You gotta go to Sunshine foods in Brandon, Sd when you’re in sioux falls. 15 min from downtown, i’ve scored many hard to find bottles for cheeeeeeap there.
Southern Star is a great bourbon. If youre lucky and see their paragon bottled in-bond that stuff is insanely good!
Check out those Stellum bottles theyre out of indiana, had a store pick of that and it was great
You went to Woodman's!!! I'm so excited to see this.
That blue label J. Henry is Bellafontaine Reserve... That is some excellent whiskey!
