Please don't forget to have Addison fix the broken sign over the entrance. Would hate that a broken sign stops a 5 star review. Thank You for a Awesome part 3 :)

Don't forget to praise each worker once per shift so they're always happy to be working for you! It's not always about the pay/promotion to keep them happy :)

My adults usually go from 40 to 60/65 and that's when i make them elders. I just put wrinkles when i feel they look too young lol

That's the issue with the Sims 4 in general. Toddlers feel too old, kids feel too young (look 11 and act 6), teens are basically adults, zero difference between young adults and adults except some wrinkles, then elders feel 90+ immediately.

I think you should give Addison an outfit for when they are working at the restaurant! Like a professional looking outfit or a waiter outfit so he looks like he actually belongs there :)

21:11 James’ play style has changed quite a bit. My jaw literally dropped when he wanted to give a second promotion, especially since the employee didn’t complain first!

I was laughing so hard when Addison tried to pay for staff training but couldn‘t because the staffs are too good at their jobs 😂😂😂

@@amandaconnor5874 it was in the dine out rags to riches LP, he had an emplyee who was "very satisfied" with his job, but James read it as "very UNsatisfied", and spent the whole episode trying to get this guy to like the job. in the end he had bothered the dude so much that he went down to only being "satisfied" lol. it was so funny.

This mod is great. What i imagined dine out to be. Carl did a good job.

Hilary can join Addison’s household and then while they cook she can talk with the customers. Also don’t have them have kids until the infant update and maybe the new expansion pack. 😅 But eventually the kids can be the waiters and the restaurant will be all family members.

Well the new expansion pack will hopefully have new gameplay to explore so probably safe to say they'll be done by then regardless of when that comes out (unless he decides to explore that with the other branch of the family!)

When you get more money next time don't forget to add the air con so you, the employees, and customers are more comfortable. I know your sim can wear hot weather clothes to help... but that doesn't help the others.

You don't really need to reach level 7 of the cooking skill. As per the EA website and I quote, "Reach level 5 in the Cooking Skill to unlock Gourmet Cooking!"

I would love to see a high school dropout teen (like Addison) working in the Burger Boys Restaurant. I think that adds to the realism of fast food in America; especially if the teen couldn’t care less about the job lol

Well, these days it's mostly adults working in fast food in the USA but yes lol.

So, potential “cheat, but it’s in the game”: If you start a club with your chef and cook gourmet food together, will their skill rise? Same with a fitness club with the waiters? It’s sneaky if you can’t afford training for a new restaurant 😅

I'm posting this early in my watch time so maybe you cover this in the video already, but I think it'd be a fun end game challenge for Addison to make enough money for them to "pay back" Reginald for the cost of the restaurant and starter home!

31:50. My sim got a similar message from their parent once. He was a teen and went to school only to get that visiting message from his mom while at school. And then she was happy he "visited" when he came home from school. And I was left wondering why his mom was so dang clingy lol.

A takeout fridge. definately. buying and leaving with food is a thing. some people don't want dine in, and others need a to-go plate for someone at home. makes total sense

Addison overheating all the time really makes me wish the hot/cold weather clothing system was different. Like, imagine if instead of being 2 extra outfit categories it was a setting for all the OTHER outfit categories. Hot and cold weather everday wear, formal wear, etc. Sims wearing comfy sweaters to bed when it's cold and boxers when it's hot. Yes, it'd be more outfits to make and some might think it's too much... But maybe you could link them to all be the same the way you can do with occult forms? Or just choose full looks.

Not sure if this is an issue you personally have or if this helps what your saying but when playing when setting hot/cold outfits you can click off the hot/cold weather tag etc for that outfit category and choose anything you want and then it won't say overheating/freezing when wearing those outfits. But maybe you knew that already. It also gives more options cause not limited to that category.

@@freesia131 yeah, I do that whenever I remember! but having to set differently themed hot/cold weather outfits like that and then struggling with sims i.e. automonously switching to formal wear and freezing to death is so very annoying to me? it's not a huge deal, I just feel like it could be avoided if the system got an overhaul

I would love to have a Sims restaurant good enough to pay my employees an actual irl minimum wage ($16)

If you center of kitchen there will be more space for 4 the right tables. Move it like 1 or 2 to the left (front lot view)

I think the food might be going off so quickly in the Burger Boy's let's play because the refrigerators are really low quality. That might not be the case, because it does seem to be extremely quick, even for the low quality fridges --- but worth looking into.

Someone on the comments in the multiplayer said the food going off may be due to power being turned off at your “home” lot due to bills being unpaid.

Would it be easier to praise them and send them for training at the end of the shifts before closing, almost like an end-of-shift meeting? That way Addison doesn't have to fight for attention against the customer.

I'm a year late, but the fact that James never moved the whole kitchen over one tile to make room for those 3 seater tables is just driving me nuts! Especially since his Sims aren't using the tables on the left side of the restaurant.

He should play as some of the coworkers like a sitcom so we can see what their lives are like lol

If you have the ability... give inspirational speeches to your employees. I THINK they seem to stand around less when I do that. It also helps with their satisfaction and seems to help when they are flagging from being tired, tense, need to pee, etc.

I think the problem with the refrigerators is a glitch. All my refrigerators in all my saves are doing the same thing even though they worked fine before.

Editing this comment because I was actually wrong About the one star review table, But! It does appear that when you take orders or try to serve food it glitches out because your employees are trying to do it at the same time. The table that you served food for towards of the end of the episode glitched out because they needed their dishes cleared before the food could be served. That's why that one meal was still sitting there, kaito was in the process of cleaning up So when you serve the food it still displayed whatever was left by the prior customers and I don't think that they ate it all. Not sure if that affected the rating. Loving the let's play! But I think things would be smoother if you took your time, and waited to welcome and interact with customers until the food is actually on the table, and then maybe only clear tables instead of trying to serve or take orders.

I love how you're paying over four times as much in ingredient costs as you are in employee wages lol

Hilary and Addison could get engaged and move in together then she could help with greeting and managing customers while Addison works as Chef :)

I definatly think you should change Agathas station back, that way when you're not playing as 2nd chef the meals are finished closer to the dining room. Otherwise it's wasting time and weird routing of servers to pick up food to serve. Currently they will always walk all the way in, past Agatha, just to grab food

Take a shot every time James uses money to pay for training or promote or buy meat walls instead of buying a $150 thermostat. ~ends up dying from alcohol poisoning~

It would be cool if Hilary moved in so her and Addison could work at the same time.

You should remove the decorations from the tables. That seems to be a problem at times for people not sitting or eating at a table.
