Donald FuckkingTrump because he sold his company to CNN. There's nothing else. Literally in three or four months he went from being one of if not the most respected KZreadr's on the platform to having vitriol spewed on his comments. It's crazy to see. People started falling off because his vlog wasn't maintaining the quality is used to have, and so when he stops vlogging and admits he noticed the fall off and couldn't maintain it anymore, people turn on him and claim he's a talentless hack who sold out. Classless, typical move by my own generation to despise anyone who achieved their goals and decided to change course in their lives. Damn the Internet makes me feel gross sometimes. Pathetic.

Look this is real life and if you haven't noticed yet it is usually not the most talented people that make it to the top. Why? Work ETHIC. Some people rely so much on their natural talents that they think that should give them a free pass to the top. I have so many friends that are super talented but are snobbish because they think they "deserve" to make it even though they are not even grinding. Casey is not my cup of tea anymore either but the dude hustled his ass of to get to the top, stop thinking that every time you see someone succesful that they don't deserve it or didn't earn it. I for one respect people like Casey even if i know 10 people more talented than him that have not made it because they are to busy day dreaming about making it instead of taking action and making moves.

Hoyt Volker I don't understand in the slightest how selling his company makes him not true to his persona. What is the conflict there? And I also would say without an ounce of doubt, that if you or I or anyone put their lives on display every single day for well over a year, people would notice some inconsistencies and hypocrisies with us as well. It's a guarantee. People change, adapt, and just generally feel differently on different days and about different things, and don't necessarily say the thing that you think would align with their other beliefs.

Some people are jealous when someone makes much money with an activity which isn't considered "hard" in their opinion. Cause society thinks: earning money = having a difficult job you hate doing. When they see someone who is successful and making a living out of it, they feel subconsciously offended. "Hey I'm working my ass off, and this guy is just making youtube videos and earning millions!!" They start to question their choices cause in their mind money = success; success= being smart. They start to feel stupid. The thing is people don't like to feel stupid. Negativity arises then cause they feel depressed. So they write a hateful comment to trick their emotions into a state of denial = they feel better again.

I love your positivity, it does not feel forced. I think you find a nice balance by showing your mistakes. When the camera falls over, or if you break something, or admitting when you're late you don't always edit out mistakes and I think that is helpful for viewers.

Actually, certain lenses create what's called chromatic aberration. It can mostly be corrected for in post processing. It can also be applied as an after effect, but I doubt that's what he wanted.

Hey Casey, still suffering from vlog withdrawal on this side. For me I miss you talking to is as much as you miss sharing. Your perspectives on life in general are truly uplifting and such a joy to watch. I mean, it feels like I know a little bit of NYC by watching. Point is, I think many subscribers can associate with you sharing in person, as much as we enjoy your larger (perhaps less personal) movies. You being dragged by a drone, awesome. ***** hey man, why don't you just google search it? it's really interesting! also, artists like to put effects that cameras cause into art to make them more realistic, such as blur, noise and chromatic aberration. so If you're an artist by any chance it's actually pretty good to know about

Thats a problem with low quality lenses on 4k sensors. That geen/purple thing on the object border is called Chromatic aberration

André Lira that's not chromatic aberration, or if it is, it's not normal. Looks like he accidentally added some kind of effect because real chromatic aberration is only visible when zoomed in.

You left in your wife thanking you for going to therapy with her, your daily frustrations, small glimpses that let other people know that your life is real and you do have normal struggles. It never felt superficial watching your vlogs, not like people who obviously aren't that happy planning their lives to make them look nicer, their homes to look always clean and neat, their perfectly curated lives. Everyone has a little mess, many people won't show it.

Loved this. Needed to be said. I know I've seen some pretty depressing vlogs that people have put up who can only be said to be "depressed". There's only one thing you can do...look for the "silver lining" in a negative situation and it turns it into something positive.
