Not really, UFC is notorious for giving fighters the edge, they put a bunch of strikers against wrestlers or stronger guys we know are weaker! Usman had a couple decent victories but realistically he fought a good amount of weak fighters who he could beat from wrestling…….

I really don’t think he did anything other than rely on his already existing takedown defence. Elevation gave Usman a huge advatnage and Leon ran out of energy quicker from the lack of oxygen.

His reflexes and quickness have greatly declined and his takedown attempts are very poorly timed. His better days are behind him. He had a good run while it lasted.
