I'm moving there with my sister and 3 of my friends and we are trying to figure everything out before we leave, we have a little less than a year and we are all saving up literally every penny and working extra hours and everything we are so happy to go! Thank you!

so jealous! and wishing you the best for the incredible year ahead of you! i have friends who’ve spent time in SK and they highly suggest taking a language course because they said going around with just english was extremely difficult. also, if you go cafe hopping or anything, i’d love if you could mention the prices for everything because the only youtubers i have seen make those videos give KRW or USD prices and it’d be nice to get a canadian cost perspective hehe 💖

After my trip to Korea, I've seriously been thinking about moving there. I'm currently in the military so I can't move until my contract is up but I'm so conflicted about getting out lol. I would need to find a new job and adjust to life outside of the military. I'm not a hustle and bustle type of person but I think I will still miss the structure and security (I actually like being in the Air Force). It's still not set in stone but I've been wanting to live in Korea since I was 15 and I'm 22 now so....I want to give it a shot before my 20s are up

@@KatieCung your gonna get the full experience for staying 1 year, I stayed 4 month last time. The haircuts are next level! So many cute cafes, 1 for everyday. I was surprised of how many Vietnamese tourist was there. Are you from northern Vietnam ?

so sad in this culture kids are obsessed with moving out, think about your mother id happily give away 90 percent of my freedom in order to take care of my mom and be with her, our generation needs to learn to be more adjusting and accepting

I live in the same building as my family, lived with them my whole life and my mother and my father are both happy for me to move out and experience this abroad. I think it’s a generalization to say all kids are obsessed with moving out and not all family dynamics are the same.
