@@Tyrone_Bone all about how you sell your product. Kyle makes bank every time he makes a blade. Alec makes all his money off views and sales of knife making products. Alec has got his character down and knows how to keep viewers entertained, Kyle does a good job of presenting the knife making process but lacks the outward persona that brings in more subs.

@@bennybooboo6789 I agree. I do like both, Kyle and Alec. I watch Alec because his video’s are entertaining and he does a good job explaining what he’s doing. But Kyle… Kyle is the far superior knife maker. I can only imagine how awesome his classes are.

@Drew8080 N Kyle is a master Smith, Alec isn't, I'd be worried if kyle DIDNT make superior work. I think the big turn off for a lot of kyle's viewers, especially the beginners, is the fact that he's always doing crazy Damascus stuff which can be a bit much for them, especially when he starts using tools and methods they cant relate to. Alec started off simple and used tools and steel that everyone can get their hands on.

I've watched a lot of blade makers on KZread and Kyle is.... EASILY, BY FAR, THE BEST !!!!! The craftsmanship, the attention to detail, the absolute out of the box creativity...... Is out of this world. He makes such beautiful pieces. 👍👍

Cuz we love guns, fancy knives are fancy and all... But nothing more than decorative pieces, bang-bang-bang for the win, bang-bang ur dad, bang ur mom, gang bang ur sis.

I’ve seen you do this process so many times now with slight alterations and nuances but am still as blown away as I was when I first found your channel all those years ago. Hats off to your brother too, the music is always so immersive and evocative. Truly a master of your craft ☕️

Guys I just want to say that Kyle and his dad are both super nice people. I’ve met them both a couple times at different knife shows and they were always really nice and took the time to talk with anyone that stopped by their table. The “average joe” at the knife show likely can’t afford one of Kyle’s knives, but he doesn’t treat them any different than someone with really deep pockets.

It's a real joy seeing you working & how a chunk of steel and bone becomes a tremendously beautyfull knife

I could watch Kyle create masterpieces like this for hours, it's just incredible to see play out.

My 5 yr old son loves watching your videos. After this one he promptly got up and sketched a knife shape on paper then constructed a knife out of Lego and drew all over it with a sharpie to get a "Damascus pattern". Love to see him inspired. Thanks mate

Amazing work! That pattern has some pretty groovy curves- it really does have a flame-ish look to it. Once again, your attention to detail, and insistence on perfection is admirable. That is one good looking Bowie knife!

Those details are huge. It's amazing how much diversity in design can exist even when the variations don't seem very extreme at all. These projects are just entirely deliberate, every last micron of space is considered. I never tire of it.

I watch a lot of these videos. My Dad made custom knives from the late 70s to last year. Finally retired at 82 and I always compare techniques to his.
