Yay! Another trip to Japan! Great to see Mrs. Jordan and Violet and Eliza again. I'm looking forward to what's next! Have a wonderful time in Japan. Amazing that you can get there so quickly. A hundred years ago there would be a train trip that would take days across the U.S. then another days-long trip by ocean liner to Japan. Now it's 21 hours. Zowie!

Time stamp 3:33 and I'm feeling tense! When traveling, I need to be lightly medicated until the plane is in the air. Then all tension is gone. I feel safer in the air than on the ground. I so feel for you. I can't sit still, too much energy to chill for 20 hours or more...I have to hop from city to city taking a sleep day in-between. Crossing time zones is an ass kicker, especially when you get older. God I wish I could be as chill as you! Now I could see myself visiting Japan. Gorgeous Ohana! You seem like a fantastic Dad! I am so happy you made it and I hope you have a blast!

Have a been to Japan twice, when my daughter was stationed at Yokosuka, I can confirm that navigating Japan is very difficult. You are very fortunate to have your wife, who speaks Japanese help you navigate traveling there. Enjoy! I loved Japan!!

I had a gate change to the other end of the airport in Barcelona. They didn't announce it. I double checked the board when we were supposed to be boarding. Booked it to the new gate and then got popped for enhanced screening. I was the last one on the flight back to the US. That was stressful...

So glad this popped up in my feed. My youngest son's biggest dream is to go to Japan and we've decided that after he finishes high school next year we are sending him with a teen travel group. This will be his first time going without us anywhere and also the last time he was on a plane he was maybe 5. Needless to say, Momma is incredibly anxious about the whole thing, but especially the airport stuff. My son has lived in Japan for about 5 yrs. I had the same anxiety when he first went there. If it helps ease your mind, crime is very low there. So much safer than here in the states. And the Japanese airlines are much nicer, he says. Hoping he enjoys his adventure 😊
