I appreciate the ingenuity but the genius of the Stand By Me TV is that it’s cordless and can move around without being tethered to an outlet. I bought one from Walmart, it’s small like 27” for about $700 for my husband’s birthday recently. He wasn’t that stoked about it at first and thought about returning it and upgrading our family room TV but then our 5 year old daughter called dibs on the Stand By Me TV and I thought well, she doesn’t have a TV yet, let her have it. Lol our daughter still doesn’t have a tv in her room. Poor thing 😂

I have carpet in several rooms in my house and I have carpet sliders under my furniture, it makes moving the furniture very easy , maybe you could put some on the bottom of your stand . I buy them at Home Depot.
