I cut my hair super short because I have naturally super curly hair that tangles extremely easily and with my depression I never had/have motivation to do anything so brushing my hair is one if those things and honestly, some of my teachers have mistaken me for a boy when I wear multiple layers and have my mask on and it makes me super happy because Identify as non binary with he/they pronouns and I just like people thinking I'm a guy instead of a bio girl :))

I am a girl and I have short hair as well. Everyone thinks my hair is very nice thankfully. I will feel so upset if people made fun of me for looking like a boy. To be honest, I prefer to have my hair short rather than long because I look like a better person. I used to have long hair, but I decided to chop it off when I was in 7th grade. I wanted to look ore cool and to be a tom boy. I also wanted to be able to take care of my hair and not have to struggle putting it in my shako hat for marching band. I GOT MY HAIR CUT AND DONATED IT TO CANCER And got called a boy by my own boyfriend Edit: I’m sobbing at how I acted lmao, this was 2 years ago (2019, nearly 3) and yes, I did donate my hair to a charity called the little princess trust fund which they make wigs out of hair that gets donated, I did this on the 23rd of December 2017, so at the current time I was 9, hair grows so when I posted this comment I was at the age of 11, I’m now 13 now and I can tell you that my “year 4 boyfriend” was not the gay one-

I really liked this girl a lot. I am just like her as well. Always keeping my hair short, neat and tidy. It really makes me feel comfortable of who I am and how it made me feel. I really got used to it and I still keep my hair short till this day.
