11:12 quicker way to move notes around piano roll is just shift + scroll wheel…you don’t even gotta select the note, it will move whatever note your mouse is closest to

I like Beat 1 with the alternates, I feel like Beat 2 could use more B sections, maybe some sparse melody and ambient layers when the drums are more complex so it's not the same melody loops. Great work as always, I love watching your vids and learning about your process. Keep it up!! 🤍💫

Someone in your discord the other day was tweaking on me for not doing the box thing with the 808, and color coding my template even though I associate colors with certain instruments. Glad you mentioned that everyone has a different process, and therefore a different result.

always do your own thing and develop your own process. doesnt mean u can't incorporate aspects from other producers you like but the frankenstein'ing of it all together is what makes your own style 🤞🏼
