This scene is perfectly written and perfectly executed. Washington reaching for his belt (indicating he's carrying and Pascal is unarmed / is his hostage). They are in a residential suburb (Pascal's hand gesture to keep everybody cold). The no BS straight to the point professional tone. Eye contact / awareness at all times even when Washington speaks to Pascal's wife behind him. Slowly walking back (bang!bang! hands) while maintaining eye contact at all times and smiles (grunt looking at Pascal for orders) and Washington won't turn his back until he got Pascal's kid in his arms. Because these guys are a-holes and wouldn't hesitate otherwise. And that "See you at work" ! I mean, come on. Perfect scene. I wish all action movies were Directed by people who know how to write, set and execute their scenes. Unfortunately, this ain't a perfect world.

I actually like it more than John Wick which the fights are sometimes ridiculous (guy blocking bullets with sword and Wick should have died a while ago) but the fights in here are straight to the point and fast and it doesn't matter if someone fights dirty (taking out someones eye or hitting someone in the gut) because everything is about survival
The waving his hand in Daves face while he trying to acknowledge his wife @ 2:23-2:27 is awesome and then ends it with "see you at work".
