So psyched for this. Being a track rat on my R6 for decades and a motocross junkie for decades and now this. Motorcycling is such a deep and rewarding experience and so much fun.

Chase... proud of you mate. I’ve done the DGR since 2013 down here in Australia and have raised thousands in the process. Trust me, you’ll want to keep doing it after your first ride!

Tried it for the first time in 2019, and did a huge video about it. Extremely nice event 🙏 And so awesome to so many people gathering together and looking so fly at the same time ☀️

OC - I dont have anything old to ride in one but it is on the bucket list for one day.

OC: I've done the Salt Lake City DGR a couple times over the past few years. On my '81 yammy XS650. It's a lot of fun. you're going to love it. Just be prepared for EVERY conversation to somehow come around to carb jetting.

This will be my 3rd year attending and it really is an awesome event for an awesome cause.

This event is awesome! I've done it 3 times already. You don't need an old bike. It's just a theme. A dress theme. Dress like you're in the 40's where everyone dresses in suits. Triumph is one of the sponsors Fun event for a great cause.

I’m gonna go to the Madrid DGR, they don’t require a vintage looking bike, but it is highly encouraged to dress the part, or as close to it. It’s gonna be AWESOME!!!!!

Don't got a Triumph but spent 3 years building a custom Honda Monkey! She's all finished, just in time for my first gentlemens ride myself! Up here in Asbury Park New Jersey.

Honestly, my home never talked about health growing up. You simply worked, and raised a family, then you die. Lately, I’ve been taking my mental health more seriously. Especially, since 2020 suicide sometimes became a more regular thought. So recently I bought a Royal Enfield Continental GT and then heard about this ride. The important thing is to take time for yourself and your hobbies. Don’t be a narcissist, but don’t literally kill your self for others.

Going to look into this for next year in virginia for sure

OC: I live in Michigan, but I'm inspired to look into it and see if there's a ride near me. Love that it's about men's health and having fun.

You don't technically need a retro bike anymore. The creator of DGR wanted to include all riders so all could support mens health. The only requirement if possible is to dress dapper as you can.

chase after covid has calmed down you should come to the UK specifically Bolton, every Sunday there is a motorbike meet up in a place called Rivington lots of bikes great food and great people and most importantly great roads. I think it would be a great video for your channel

As someone that has been doing it for the last four year. People bring all kinds of bikes. Young and old with knew bikes and old bikes. Up here in DC area they dont care about the bike you bring

Man... I've been trying to get in on that for YEARS! No chapter in KY and they don't welcome my Street Triple. I've tried doing a loaner or rental for the Chattanooga or Knoxville area ride... no dealer will do it. Now that I work for Georgia Pacific I'd consider the Atlanta area too if I could get a line on an appropriate bike down there.

I know for a fact there are at least a couple retro bikes in the area for rent. At least as of a week ago there were.

OC: Would love to be there. I'll be in Montreal with my gf's family. Though owning a Daytona 675R isn't the kinda bike for the ride.

OC: If I had an R18 or an R9T rather than an R1200, Better, if I had a pre-1980 R-Anything, I would be there is a second.

Imagine ordering a helmet just for a ride lol I've been thinking about which sub-midrange helmet to get for the past 2 years. But it's slowly about time, my visor is pretty dead and visors being 1/5 of what a whole new helmet costs :////

They were used for a test fit. They have the wheels for the 300 so his wheels aren’t needed anymore

Well the lads did mention that you need to arrive in the right attire, and you bike is part of that outfit. They explicitly said they rather not have sportsbikes during the event.

Bro this bike is held together with zip ties and gaff tape. Unsymmetrical bars is the least of it's worries.

I guess I’m too old cuz I’m not trying to go ride in clothes that will do nothing in a crash. My worst crashes have all been caused by someone else.. or a dog. So yeah I’ve been asked asked about this a few times and said no every time. If someone can come up with a better idea then maybe.

Yea I was a bit worried at first but from what I understand it's a pretty slow ride so I'm a little less worried now. We shall see how it is on the actual ride!

Hey Chase, at 8:40 one of the organizers mentions, you can't have sports bikes, after clarifying sportsters are allowed. Is this stigma kinda seen in the events? I'd want to support this cause but as a sport bike rider I'm clearly not the demographic they want. If there's a strong stigma against it, I'll def avoid, I don't see many in the video.

You need mirrors on that bike, looks aren’t worth being run over by a distracted driver.
