I'm finally getting home decorating and remodeling projects done!
As a New England home and lifestyle blogger and avid homemaker, many of my home and DIY home projects start at 5:00 am in the morning, give or take a half an hour. For those who have asked, This is how I get so many home decorating and home remodeling projects done around our home. For this week's video, I will be sharing a few early morning decorating projects I completed such as painting the stairs and the stairwell to the basement, which is part of my basement takeover project. Then you will see some moulding I put on both as a baseboard and trim around two doorways. I also painted the breakfast room as I search for just the right wallpaper. It's almost spring in New England and I want to get as many DIY home improvement projects done around the house that I can.
I love when I'm getting things done around the home, then l get to go outside and do a couple projects in the yard and gardens then play with Willow.
I hope you are inspired to take on some of your own early morning DIY projects. It really does allow for more time during the day to enjoy other things.
For those who have asked, I have linked information about my Limoges Theodore Haviland China set. The teacup and saucer are shown in this video.
I will also be linking the wood garden cart I have used for years.

I love the squirrel story! My snow patches have been gone for about two weeks, thankfully. I live for the end of Winter and the world reawakening. Now I am blessed with early buds and birdsong. Your garden tour gives me some incentive to get to work! My Lola, like your Willow loves to play ball! Our Doodles all seem to sleep the same way too!

Linda I admire your determination. Great job getting the projects done! Hold off with trimming roses. The rule of thumb( Paul Parent’s rule) is trim roses not until the forsythias bloom.

Very enjoyable 🙂 The apple in the tree reminded me years ago when my neighbour had stale donuts that they put out for the squirrels and birds. I went out to walk through our backyard, when l seen donuts hanging in the tree's, l thought I was seeing thing's!!☺️ My neighbor saw me from their window, looking up into the tree's, likely with a look of puzzlement on my face and called out that they had put out the donuts the night before. I guess the squirrels had put them in the tree's for the nexted day snack🐿️😊🍁

As you've been told now. It's arched so looks like Winter Flowering Jasmine. It has no scent unlike the white. Forsythia is upright. Seemingly you can just stick it in the ground and it takes. My very dear elderly neighbour in England had it. When I moved to Spain she still planted flowers in my garden. She watered our both gardens with my hose. She even hung flower baskets up for me so my house looked lived in. There is a white Forsythia I hear. She also grew Sweet Peas, my favourite and gave me bunches of them when we holidayed there in the summer. You sent me off on some very sweet memories. Thanks Linda.

Great trip around your garden . So many people only show their gardens in full bloom . Lovely as that is , its nice to see some ' before ' pictures ! The little yellow flower is Winter Jasmine [ Jasminium Nudiflorum ] The flowers do look very similar but Jasminium has has very green , whip like arching stems . Forsythia , on the other hand , tends to have browner stems with a more upright habit .

Funny squirrel! One year we lost half a Bradford Pear tree in a storm and decided to cut it the rest of the way down. There was a squirrel's nest in it. I had a flag holder next to our front porch that held small flags. The squirrel shredded our flags! I put up knew ones immediately and it did the same thing again. We waited a few months after that until the squirrel had calmed down and found a new home. They are characters for sure. Looking at the back of your home, what room do the winding stairs come from? Love your home.

Also about cutting the tip according to the amount and angle of caulk to be utilized. I have an issue with hand strength using the caulking trigger. Also being steady do the caulk flows consistently is important. I will keep trying but I may have to resort to asking fo assistance-difficult for this TOOL Gal 😯🙁
