I remember saying goodbye to my wife and 4 young children when I was in the RAF and had to go away on ops, it was the worse feeling in the world being away from them..... but the best feeling coming back and seeing all their faces when I came through arrivals at Brize Norton and Akrotiri when I was stationed out there. Makes me think of all the times when I listen to this song

First class. For anyone who has deployed, certainly emotional. I stumbled on the song when I stumbled on the truce of the "Great War". It will play at my own memorial one day.

For the 35 members of the Spanish Armed Forces who died in defence of MY family and the United States in Afghanistan. This American will always be grateful..

Ce que je vais écrire est plus que grave mais aujourd'hui faut t il en Europe mais surtout en France en 2024 un dallas , un bataclan (bis) ou avec les j.o. un munich pour comprendre que ce soi de toute horizon ou de culture la planète terre est à tout être vivant pour la paix de tous et non le profit de certains sur les autres . Voilà où est venu le départ de richesse des uns envers des autres

c'est une chanson anglophone a la base. certaines chansons ne peuvent juste pas etre traduite. la marseillaise en anglais n'aurait pas le même sens ou le même feeling
