1 solar 2 wind turbines opening for when you don't trust wind and need consistency for your starting build Then just build wind turbines and energy storage unless you're on a map with questionable wind, then just build a couple adv solars on the way to fusion and reclaim them for the metal as fusion comes up Your basic solars should never exceed like 2 unless you're on a no-wind map Not Bright's fault devs make wind turbines the best pick on 90% of maps for 90% of the game time

Saw a couple comments complaining about "bm" or "troll" gameplay because the better players... played better? than the less skilled players? What did you actually expect? Are the better players supposed to go easy on the newer players so they can learn bad habits? I remember when RTS games weren't filled with so many softies. AoE4 has them too. Playing aggressively or out-skilling a player isn't seen as a good play anymore, it's just "bm." I learned how to play RTS games by getting my ass kicked over and over until I learned how to play properly.

Thanks for another banger! I really appreciated the focus on Red, getting to see their whole strategy. If people are unhappy about the focus, maybe pausing and checking in on the rest of the map every few minutes could be a decent compromise?

In a team vs team game, this will always end up in half the teams winning, and half losing. That's just basic fractions, which most people learn by the age of 12.

It's pretty interesting the way the metal node system works for different maps. Sometimes you can get away with a lot of extra room!

look at the os on each team! Even discounting the massive advantage that red team got from their superior teamwork from eural and delfea being in the same clan, the OS difference between teams made this game feel very unbalanced

I use a combination of legacy and grid hotkeys that gives me half of each. For the technical details best bet would be to check the pinned messages in the main channel of my discord where I've explained how I set it up better there :)

I wonder if the higher skill players got everyone to kickban the lower skill player afterwards? 🤔

It’s lobby dependent. I’ve seen all welcome lobbies where everyone complains but no kick bans. It’s usually the 3+ chevron lobbies that kick ban people.

Both teams had pros, they just chose different roles and that was absolutely the downfall of our poor level 13 hero

Bm? All they did was use a bit of teamwork in a team based game. I think this served as a reminder, along with all the instances of communism in the streams, that working with your teammates, both tactically and strategically, as something to think about for all players.

how a pro player approaches the game: bully a newer player trying to make a wall with LLTs behind it lol. hope it was fun for them

I think that's a harsh criticism. The blue team chose to invest their OS into teching meaning they knew their front would be weaker. The red team did the opposite and we got an explosive show

@@Delfeacy no i’m just trying to have some sympathy for your opposing frontliner here. bro loaded into the match and got ran down by 2 players with double his skill in under 10 minutes. like congrats, you dominated him. just sort of a pick on someone your own size scenario. it’s not something you really choose at the beginning of the match besides in lobby creation so i get it. but i mean cmon he’s building walls while his commanders about to explode and destroy them all. you’re like michael jordan dunking on middle schoolers
